PENA – Belakangan ini telah ramai di media massa saling sindir dan serang antara Pemkab Halsel dan Pemkot Ternate. Bermula dari pemulangan penumpang asal Ternate yang hendak ke Halsel, konflik ini bermula dan menyita perhatian publik hingga saat ini.
Menanggapi hal tersebut, Sekretaris DPD KNPI Malut M. Ardiyansyah, Jumat (18/6), angkat bicara. Melalui keterangan tertulis, dia mengatakan Pemkab Halsel dan Pemkot Ternate tidak semestinya saling berdebat.
“Karena kalau terus saling sindir dan sentimen begitu terus, maka rakyat yang jadi korban,” tegasnya.
Ardiyansyah menambahkan, semua warga negara Indonesia berhak berada dimana saja dan kapan saja selama masih di wilayah NKRI. Atas hal ini harusnya kedua daerah berkoordinasi, dengan begitu akan ada solusi terbaik.
“Aneh sekali, kan yang ber-KTP Ternate dan Halsel adalah warga Malut dan rakyat Indonesia juga, bukan Tenaga Kerja Asing (TKA), kan. Jangan korbankan masyarakat. Tolong pikirkan baik baik sebelum berdebat dan benturkan kebijakan,” tambahnya.
Ardiyansyah malah pertanyakan sikap pemerintah daerah yang diam saat TKA masuk ke wilayah Malut, dan jadi berdebat saat warga sendiri bepergian dari satu daerah ke daerah lain.
“TKA ini kan ada yang masuk dari luar lewat Ternate, kemudian ke Halsel. Makanya kita bertanya-tanya kenapa TKA masuk begitu ramai tidak disoal, tapi warga Malut sendiri kok dijadikan masalah,” tambahnya.
KNPI Malut juga mendesak Pemprov Malut harus turun tangan dan menegur kedua belak pihak atas masalah ini. “Sebagai pemerintahan diatasnya, Pemprov harus turun tangan, jangan diam,” tekan Ardiyan. (*)
