Danrem 152 Babullah, Brigjen (TNI) Imam Sampurno Setiawan, pada kesempatan itu menyampaikan kepada masyarakat tidak mudah percaya dengan berita soal vaksin yang itu belum tentu benar.
“Saya kira ini menjadi harapan bagi kita semua. Percayalah kepada pemerintah, bahwa vaksin ini sangat berguna untuk memutus mata rantai penyebaran covid-19,” ujarnya.
Vaksin ini, kata dia, aman dan halal untuk digunakan sesuai rekomendasi dari Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) dan Balai Besar Pengawasan Obat dan Makanan (BBPOM) RI.
Oleh karena itu, dirinya menekankan kepada seluruh anggotanya untuk melaksanakan vaksin sebagai salah satu upaya memerangi pandemi covid. “Dan yang penting meski sudah divaksin, bukan berarti bisa bebas mengabaikan protokol kesehatan. Harus tetap menjalankan 5M disiplin protokol kesehatan,” pungkasnya. (nda/Red)
