PENAMALUT.COM, SOFIFI – Gubernur Maluku Utara, Abdul Gani Kasuba, resmi melantik Bupati dan Wakil Bupati terpilih Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan, Usman Sidik dan Bassam Kasuba pada Senin (24/5).
Pelantikan ini dilaksanakan di Aula Nuku Lantai II, Kantor Gubernur Malut, di Sofifi.
Pelantikan dan pengambilan sumpah jabatan tersebut berdasarkan pada surat keputusan Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor: 131.82-1055 tentang pengesahan pengangkatan kepala daerah dan wakil kepala daerah hasil pemilihan kepala daerah serentak tahun 2020 di kabupaten/kota Provinsi Maluku Utara.
Gubernur AGK dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa dengan dilantiknya pasangan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan, maka masyarakat Halsel telah memiliki pemimpin pilihan pada hasil Pilkada kemarin.
“Sehingga hari ini telah diterbitkannya SK Mendagri. Selaku Gubernur sekaligus wakil pemerintah pusat di daerah, saya diperintahkan untuk melantik dan mengambil sumpah saudara berdua,” ujarnya.
Orang nomor satu di jajaran Pemprov Malut ini juga mengingatkan bahwa pelaksanaan pilkada di manapun, akan selalu diwarnai perbedaan kepentingan politik. Namun perlu di ingat, bahwa persoalan selama pilkada, hendaknya disudahi.
“Saudara berdua bukan lagi milik kelompok tertentu, tetapi milik seluruh lapisan masyarakat di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan,” katanya.
“Kini saatnya saudara berdua melanjutkan pemerintahan yang lebih baik, buktikan dan laksanakan janji-janji kampanye saat pilkada yang lalu,” pintanya.
