PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – Masyarakat dan Pemerintah Desa Bobanehena, Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, terus mendesak pihak Polres Halbar agar segera mengungkap siapa pelaku pembakaran rumah milik salah satu warga Desa Bobanehena yang dibakar orang tak dikenal saat bentrokan antar Desa Bobanehena dan Desa Payo pada 13 Mei 2021 lalu.
Kamis (10/6) tadi, pemerintah desa bersama BPD dan masyarakat Desa Bobanehena menyambangi Mapolres Halbar dan bertemu langsung dengan Kasat Reskrim, Iptu Ambo Welang, untuk mempertanyakan progres kasus tersebut.
Sekertaris Desa Bobanehena, Gafar Umasangaji, menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya bermaksud mendatangi Polres Halbar untuk mempertanyakan penangan kasus itu. Beberapa waktu lalu, pihaknya sudah menanyakan Kasat Reskrim sebelumnya, hanya saja belum ada titik terang.
Menurut Gafar, sampai saat ini masyarakat Bobanehena bersikeras agar pelaku pembakaran segera ditangkap. Sebab warga tahu bahwa pelaku pengeroyokan dari Desa Bobanehena sudah tertangkap, sementara pelaku pembakaran belum jiga diungkap.
“Ini sudah hampir sebulan, tapi pelakunya belum diungkap. Jadi kami kesini untuk menanyakan progres kasus sudah sejauh mana,” tuturnya.
Kepala Desa Bobanehena, Iswan, menyampaikan bahwa konflik Desa Bobanehena dan Payo ini sudah berulangkali terjadi. Ganti rugi kerusakan rumah selalu dari pemerintah daerah, hanya saja para pelakunya tidak pernah ditangkap.
“Kedatangan kami kesini juga sebagai langkah koordinasi kami dengan pihak Polres untuk mencari jalan keluar. Soal bagaimana penyelesaian kasus ini tentu kami tidak punya kewenangan, kami kembalikan pada pihak kepolisian saja,” ujarnya.
“Point yang dapat diambil ialah ketika orang Bobanehena dalam kasus pemukulan saja bisa ditahan, apalagi kasus besar seperti pembakaran rumah. Ini sudah harus menjadi konsentrasi penuh dari Polres Halbar,” sambungnya.
Meski demikian, ia tetap mempercayai dan menyerahkan sepenuhnya kepada Polres Halbar untuk mengungkap kasus tersebut.
“Kami berharap Polres Halbar bantu kami agar bisa menjawab keresahan masyarakat, karena saya pastikan bahwa ketika ini berjalan terlalu lama, ditakutkan akan timbul hal-hal yang tidak kita inginkan,” tukasnya.
Sementara Kasatreskrim Polres Halbar, Iptu Ambo Welang yang baru menjabat beberapa hari kemarin itu menyatakan akan mempelajari kasus ini sambil menunggu adanya hasil laboratorium forensik (Labfor) dari Polda Sulawesi Selatan.
“Tadi malam juga saya telpon tim Labfor Makassar, katanya
drafnya sudah selesai, namun harus dikoreksi pimpinan dulu barulah ditandatangani. Karena uji Labfor ini banyak, bukan cuma satu,” katanya.
Ia berjanji selama menjabat sebagai Kasat Reskrim akan menuntaskan masalah tersebut. Untuk itu, ia meminta kepada masyarakat agar bersabar. Sebab, kata dia, penyelidikan sebuah kasus itu tidak bisa hanya dengar kata orang, namun harus dibuktikan dengan bukti-bukti yang kuat.
Ia bilang, kasus ini juga mendapat perhatian dari Polda Maluku Utara. Sehingga tidak bisa didiamkan, sebab setiap saat terus dipantau oleh Polda.
“Maka dari itu, cepat atau lambat kami akan usahakan semaksimal mungkin,” janjinya. (yadi/red)
