PENAMALUT.COM, SOFIFI – Gubernur Maluku Utara, Abdul Gani Kasuba, menandatangani kerjasama dengan 5 Gubernur di sektor pengelolaan perikanan.
Ke 5 Gubernur itu yakni Gubernur Gorontalo Rusli Habibi, Gubernur Sulawesi Utara Olly Dondokambey, Gubernur Maluku Irjen Pol (purn) Drs. Murad Ismail, Gubernur Papua Lukas Enembe, dan Wakil Gubernur Papua Barat Muhamad Lakotani.
Penandatanganan kesepakatan bersama dan perjanjian kerjasama 6 provinsi ini disaksikan Kepala Staf Kepresidenan Moeldoko, Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, serta deputi Bidang Kementerian Dalam Negeri di gedung Bina Graha Istana Negara, Jakarta (13/9).
Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono pada kesempatan itu menyampaikan, kebijakan Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) dalam pengelolaan sumber daya perikanan akan mengedepankan ekosistem laut, pesisir dan pulau-pulau kecil dengan tidak meninggalkan aspek informal. Oleh karena itu, dalam pengelolaan wilayah pengelolaan perikanan (WPP) akan menggunakan penangkapan terukur juga mendistribusi pemerataan.
Ada sejumlah kesepakatan tekhnis untuk nelayan Andon, lanjut Wahyu, seperti area penangkapan ikan, jumlah ikan yang boleh ditangkap berdasarkan kuota volume produksi.
“Jadi misalkan kuotanya satu juta, lalu ditangkap lebih dari satu juta, akan terjadi overfishing. Kemudian juga mempertimbangkan musim di wilayah timur, jumlah dan ukuran kapal, jenis kapal, jenis alat tangkap, pelabuhan pendaratan dan pengunaan APK lokal,” jelasnya.
Sementara Deputi Kemendagri meminta kepada para Gubernur yang telah melakukan penandatanganan kerjasama 6 provinsi harus cepat menindaklanjutinya dan harus memiliki nama yang dapat diingat. Penandatanganan itu diberi nama
Delta VI atau dorong ekonomi kelautan untuk kesejahteraan 6 Provinsi.
Kepala Staf Kepresidenan, Moeldoko juga menyampaikan, melindungi nelayan adalah visi dan misi dari Presiden Jokowi, utamanya nelayan kecil dan selaras dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 7.
“Kerjasama ini merupakan implementasi dari kebutuhan mendesak bagi kepentingan antar provinsi yang mengacu pada Permendagri Nomor 22 tahun 2020,” ujar Moeldoko sembari mengatakan perjanjian bersama ini akan menjadi payung besar bagi perjanjian dan kerjasama lintas sektor.
Sementara Gubernur Malut, Abdul Gani Kasuba usai penandatanganan MoU menjelaskan bahwa perjanjian kerjasama iini dilakukan dalam rangka memperkuat koloborasi pembangunan daerah dengan mengoptimalkan sumber daya yang dimiliki masing-masing pihak, guna mendorong kesejahteraan masyarakat Maluku Utara.
