PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Wali Kota Ternate, M. Tauhid Soleman, resmi melantik Direksi dan dewan pengawas (Dewas) Perusahaan Umum Daerah (Perumda) Air Minum Ake Gaale, pada Selasa (18/1).
Mereka yang dilantik adalah Abubakar Adam selaku Direktur PDAM, dengan anggotanya Maslan Deis dan Muhdar Assagaf. Sementara Abdullah Bandang, Halid Thalib, dan Hasan Musaddad Mandoan selaku Ketua dan Anggota Dewas.
Wali Kota M. Tauhid Soleman dalam pelantikan itu menyampaikan keyakinan dan kepercayaan terhadap enam pejabat di lingkup Perumda Ake Gaale yang baru dilantik.
Pelantikan sore ini, kata dia, merupakan pelantikan pertama di tahun 2022. Semoga momentum ini menjadi spirit atau semangat meningkatkan pelayanan publik terutama distribusi pelayanan kebutuhan dasar air minum di Kota Ternate.
Ia bilang, sebagai perusahaan umum daerah harus mempunyai peran ganda, satu sisi Institusi yang berorientasi sosial untuk memberikan layanan publik, namun disisi lain berorientasi ekonomi, yakni untuk mendapatkan profit keuntungan yang bisa mendorong meningkatkan pendapatan asli daerah.
“Tingkatkan pelayanan dengan baik, sehingga masyarakat merasa puas,” harapnya.
Dalam kesempatan itu juga, mantan Sekretaris Daerah Kota Ternate ini menyampaikan, menjadi direksi dan dewas tidak perlu menggunakan dasi, tetapi di mana terdapat kebocoran air harus secepatnya diatasi.
“Karena itu, butuh respons bagi kita semua. Sehingga apapun hal-hal dengan kepentingan masyarakat harus diutamakan,” pintanya menutup. (udy/ask)
