PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Pemerintah Kota Ternate melalui Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (Disperindag) akan menerapkan pembayaran retribusi ruko/lapak di Pasar Gamalama melalui bank.
Ini dilakukan untuk menghindari pungutan liar yang sering terjadi.
Kepala Dinas Perindag Kota Ternate, Hasim Yusuf mengatakan, terkait pengalihan retribusi pasar yang rencananya dialihkan dari BP2RD ke Disperindag masih menunggu SK. Jika SK pengalihan sudah ada, maka Disperindag langsung menjalankan penagihan retribusi yang ada di pasar.
“Ada sekitar 38 ruko. Pada prinsipnya kami akan arahkan sesuai dengan kontrak agar pembayaran retribusi ini melalui bank, supaya bisa dicek melalui aplikasi digitalisasi,” ujar Hasyim ketika diwawancarai wartawan media ini, Kamis (27/1).
Menurut dia, kebijakan ini diterapkan untuk menghindari petugas-petugas nakal yang biasanya melakukan pungutan di luar dari retribusi yang ditetapkan.
“Ini kita lakukan, supaya bisa diantisipasi dari awal,” jelasnya.
Hasyim bilang, petugas pasar tidak bisa lagi menerima pembayaran dalam bentuk tunai. Hanya untuk retribusi harian yang masih tunai.
Pihak Disperindag juga akan membuat kontrak baru kepada pemilik ruko. Setelah kontrak dibuat, barulah diterapkan pembayarannya menggunakan aplikasi.
“Ini tinggal sosialisasi ke pedagang yang sedang berjualan dalam pasar. Terus Disperindag akan tindaklanjuti setoran retribusi yang diterima mulai dari Pasar Dufa-Dufa sampai Pasar di Sasa. Paling lambat pertengahan Februari sudah jalan,” terangnya. (udy/ask)
