PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Sebuah speed Boat yang memuat 16 penumpang dari Sofifi ke Ternate mengalami kecelakaan laut pada Rabu (2/2) sekira pukul 19.30 WIT malam tadi.
Speed Baot dengan nama lambung Haliyora itu menghantam sebuah Kapal Nelayan di perairan Ternate dan Tidore atau tepatnya di depan Pelabuhan Semut Mangga Dua Ternate.
Lakalaut itu bermula ketika speed boat komersial tiga mesin dengan membawa 16 penumpang dari Sofifi menuju ke Ternate berpapasan dengan sebuah Kapal Ikan bernama lambung Putra-Putri Pataya tepat satu mil dari Pelabuhan Semut Mangga Dua. Kapal ikan tersebut dari arah selatan laut Ternate menuju ke arah utara.
“Namun enath kenapa, baik speed maupun kapal terjadi tabrakan yang mengakibatkan bagian depan speed boat Haliyora ini terjadi kerusakan,” ungkap Danpos Pelabuhan Semut, Apriyanto kepada waratwan NMG, Kamis (3/2).
Beruntung, kata Apriyanto, peristiwa tersebut tidak memakan korban jiwa. Hanya saja satu orang penumpang speed boat mengalami luka di pelipis bagian kanan kepala.
Speed boat dan para penumpang kemudian dievakuasi di Pelabuhan Perikanan Bastiong menggunakan kapal ikan. Para penumpang juga langsung di bawa ke rumahnya masing-masing untuk diberi perawatan.
Apriyanto mengaku, setelah meminta keterangan dari pihak motoris speed dan juga pihak kapal ikan, mereka sama-sama memiliki lampu penerang, bahkan cuaca juga mendukung.
“Jadi speed tersebut mengambil arah bagian kanan, sementara kapal ikan juga sudah sempat mundur ke belakang, tapi mungkin sudah tidak bisa terkendali, akhirnya terjadi benturan,” ujarnya.
Aprriyanto menegaskan, dari jauh-jauh hari, pihaknya sudah mengimbau kepada seluruh motoris speed boat untuk lebih berhati-hati dan waspada dalam mengemudi.
“Dari kejadian ini, kami akan tetap perketat lagi agar tidak lagi terjadi seperti ini,” tandasnya mengakhiri.
Sementara dari amatan wartawan NMG di lokasi, speed yang sudah dievakuasi ke bibir pantai itu kondisinya rusak cukup berat di bagian depan. Jendela depan dan bagian kiri speed juga patah. (tr1/ask)
