PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Bocah berusia 3,8 tahun terjatuh ke dalam selokan dan hanyut terseret banjir hingga 30 meter. Ia ditemukan meninggal tepat di bibir pantai.
Peristiwa nahas itu terjadi pada Senin (21/2) sekira pukul 15.30 WIT sore tadi bertempat di Kelurahan Loto, RT/RW 03/02, Kecamatan Ternate Barat, Kota Ternate.
Informasi yang diterima wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), korban bernama Muhammad Faqih Wahab ini awalnya mandi hujan bersama temannya Muhammad Fatir (5). Entah kenapa, korban lalu terjatuh ke dalam selokan dan terbawa air yang cukup kuat.
Teman korban mrlihat kejadian itu kemudian berlari menuju rumah korban untuk memberi tahu kepada orang tua korban yang sementara itu berada di rumah. Setelah orang tua korban mendapat kabar tersebut langsung bergegas menuju ke selokan tempat korban terseret.
“Saat itu juga orang tua korban bersama warga mencari korban di sepanjang selokan,” ujar Kapolsek Pulau Ternate, Ipda Mirna Oramali kepada wartawan tadi.
Sekira pukul 16.00 WIT, korban kemudian ditemukan tepat di bibir pantai yang jaraknya sekitar 30 meter dari TKP lalu dievakuasi ke rumah korban. Dalam perjalanan evakuasi ke rumah, korban dinyatakan sudah meninggal.
“Orang tua korban menerima dengan ikhlas kejadian ini, sebab kejadian tersebut adalah murni kecelakaan,” jelas Mirna.
Mirna juga mengucapkan bela sungkawa yang sedalam-dalamnya atas peristiwa tersebut. Dirinya juga mengimbau kepada warga agar lebih berhati-hati lagi menjaga anak-anak mereka dan selalu waspada dengan cuaca alam sekarang ini.
“Imbauan untuk semua warga agar menyikapi cuaca saat ini dengan tetap waspada,” imbuhnya mengakhiri. (tr1/ask)
