PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Seleksi terbuka 15 jabatan kepala sekolah SMP di Kota Ternate akan ditutup pendaftarannya pada Kamis (24/3) besok. Saat ini, sudah ada 27 orang yang mendaftarkan.
Kepala Bidang Mutasi dan Promosi Jabatan pada Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Daerah (BKPSDMD) Kota Ternate, Siti Jawan Lessy mengatakan, seleksi 15 jabatan kepsek SMP ini yang dicari dan diutamakan adalah mutu atau manajerial kualitasnya.
Pendaftaran 15 jabatan kepsek ini, kata Jawan, tidak ada batasan jumlahnya, asalkan telah memenuhi persyaratan.
“Pendaftaran ini bakal ditutup besok pukul 15.00 WIT,” kata Jawan kepada wartawan, Rabu (24/3).
Sementara Ketua Musyawarah Kerja Kepala Sekolah (MKKS) SMP Kota Ternate, Mustamin Hamza menambahkan, langkah yang diambil Pemerintah Kota Ternate ini merupakan bagian dari upaya menata mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik lagi.
“Mutu dan kualitas pendidikan itu yang harus diutamakan. SDM di sekolah yang paling pertama itu kepala sekolahnya. Apabila SDM kepala sekolah baik, maka akan berbanding lurus dengan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah tersebut,” ujarnya.
Dia mengapresiasi langkah yang diambil Pemkot Ternate dalam seleksi terbuka jabatan kepala sekolah. Ini merupakan niat baik pemerintah untuk menata mutu pendidikan di Kota Ternate.
Mustamin yang juga calon Kepsek SMPN 1 Kota Ternate ini menuturkan, saat ini sudah cukup banyak yang mendaftar. Hal ini menandakan adanya keinginan untuk perbaikan sistem pendidikan di sekolah.
“Seluruh tahapan akan diikuti pemerintah, karena ini mengacu Permendikbud Nomor 40 tahun 2021 tentang penugasan guru sebagai kepala sekolah,” tandasnya.
Sekadar informasi, 15 jabatan kepala sekolah yang dilakukan seleksi terbuka ini diantaranya, SMP Negeri 1, SMP Negeri 2, SMP Negeri 3, SMP Negeri 4, SMP Negeri 5, SMP Negeri 6, SMP Negeri 7, SMP Negeri 8, SMP Negeri 9, SMP Negeri 10, SMP Negeri 11, SMP Negeri 12, SMP Negeri 13, SMP Negeri 14, dan SMP Negeri 15.
