PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kota Ternate akan menerjunkan 60 personel Satgas pengangkut sampah selama Ramadan nanti.
Kepala DLH Kota Ternate, Tonny S. Ponto menjelaskan, 60 personel satgas ini nantinya dibagi shift untuk melayani pengangkutan sampah.
“Kita buat shift. Jadi usai Shalat Tarawih, mereka sudah bergerak bekerja untuk angkut sampah,” ujar Toni saat ditemui wartawan, Kamis (24/3) tadi.
Selain di malam hari, petugas juga akan diterjunkan pada siang hari, yakni dari pagi jam 9 sampai jam 12 siang. Ini untuk mengangkut sisa sampah yang semalam tidak sempat diangkut.
“Jadi pola untuk runitas pelayanannya berubah, seperti bulan Ramadan sebelumnya,” jelasnya.
Soal armada, Tonny mengaku memang beberapa hari ini pelayanan terganggu untuk daerah Ternate Tengah, Ternate Selatan dan Ternate Utara lantaran saat ini sedang dalam perbaikan.
Pihaknya meminta maaf kepada masyarakat atas tidak terlayani dengan baik, karena mobil angkutan sampah yang tidak memadai.
“Untuk mobil sampah ini ada 21, hanya saja 6 yang tidak aktif, terutama bak truck sudah rusak. Sehingga harus butuh rehab total,” tandasnya.
Namun demikian, pihak DLH akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk melayani pengangkutan sampah ini. (udi)
