PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Gempa berkekuatan 5,2 magnitudo yang terjadi di Galela, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara pada Senin (18/4) sekira pukul 12.04 WIT, membuat sejumlah rumah rusak berat.
Informasi yang diterima wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), ada lima desa di dua kecamatan yang rumahnya mengalami kerusakan, yakni Desa Towara, Baratu dan Simau di Kecamatan Galela. Sementara di Kecamatan Galela Barat terdapat Sesa Ngidiho dan Dokulamo.
Kepala Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Halut, Abner Manery menjelaskan, berdasarkan data sementara yang didapat, di Desa Dokulamo terdapat 15 rumah warga yang rusak berat. Desa Baratu terdapat 12 rumah rusak berat dan 21 rusak ringan. Desa Ngidiho 25 rumah warga rusak dan satu bangunan rumah ibadah rusak berat. Di Desa Simau terdapat empat bangunan rumah warga yang rusak berat.
“Sementara ini kami sedang melakukan upaya pendataan rill di lapangan, sehingga untuk kerugian materil belum bisa disampaikan. Tapi yang menjadi kebutuhan mendesak untuk sementara ini adalah tempat tinggal,” jelasnya.
Untuk korban jiwa, kata Abner, tidak ada. Hanya bangunan rumah warga dan harta benda lainnya yang rusak. (sef/ask)
