PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Musyawarah Daerah (Musda) ke-VI Komite Nasional Pemuda Indonesia (KNPI) Kota Ternate resmi digelar. Musda dengan tema “Reposisi Peran Pemuda Menuju Ternate Berkeadaban” itu dibuka oleh Ketua DPD KNPI Provinsi Maluku Utara, Irman Saleh, bertempat di Hotel Grand Majang Ternate, Selasa (24/5) malam.
Ketua DPD KNPI Malut, Irman Saleh dalam kesempatan itu mengajak kepada semua pengurus KNPI untuk berkonsentrasi dalam memberikan kontribusi terhadap daerah ini.
“Tunjukan bahwa kita ini pemuda. Bahwa pemuda ada dan tetap eksis,” ujar Irman.
Kata dia, walaupun kekuasaan terbatas, tetapi ide dan gagasan tidak boleh terbatas. Karena ide dan gagasan itulah yang dibanggakan oleh pemuda KNPI.
“Ide dan gagasan tidak boleh mati, tetapi harus terus mengalir. Sebab siapapun ketua dan sekretaris KNPI itu tidak penting, tetapi substansi pemuda dan KNPI itulah yang paling penting,” terangnya.
Ketua DPD KNPI Ternate, Sahrony A. Hirto dalam sambutannya menyampaikan, dinamika pemuda dalam KNPI menjadi pelatihan bagi pihaknya untuk melihat sejauh mana hal itu dapat diukur.
“Di masa jabatan saya, masih banyak kekurangan, sehingga ini menjadi bahan evaluasi saya untuk merealisasikan program di KNPI Kota Ternate,” katanya.
Ia berharap ke depannya, KNPI lebih menggenjot kekuatan untuk bersinergi dengan Pemerintah Kota Ternate dan pihak lainnya.
Sementara itu, rapat pleno penutupan pendaftaran bakal calon Ketua DPD KNPI Kota Ternate ditutup. Terdapat tiga bakal calon yang sudah mengembalikan berkas, diantaranya Samar Ishak, Akbar dan Faris Bobero. (udi/PN)
