PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Tim penyelidik Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kejati) Maluku Utara meningkatkan status kasus dugaan mafia tanah di Desa Nusliko, Kecamatan Weda, Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah, dari penyelidikan ke tahap penyidikan.
“Bidang Pidsus sudah meningkatkan status dugaan mafia tanah di badan pertanahan Nasional (BPN) Halteng dari penyelidikan ke penyidikan,” jelas Kasi Penkum Kejati Malut, Richard Sinaga kepada wartawan, Rabu (20/7).
Ia bilang, kasus tersebut setelah dilimpahkan bidang Intelijen ke Pidsus (penyelidikan) kemudian ditingkatkan ke tahap penyidikan. Peningkatan status tersebut berdasarkan kajian tim penyelidik bahwa adanya perbuatan melawan hukum (PMH).
“Untuk tersangka sebagaimana saya sampaikan, ada atau tidaknya tersangka akan dipelajari oleh tim,” ujarnya.
Kata dia, karena status kasus ini baru ditingkatkan berdasarkan surat perintah penyidikan (dik umum), maka tim akan menyiapakan rencana penyidikan (rendik) maupun tindakan-tindakan lainnya sesuai SOP.
“Ini merupakan hadiah HBA (Hari Bhakti Adhyaksa), karena bertepatan dengan kita menyelenggarakan. Kalau kita katakan hadiah HBA, ya mungkin saja karena bertepatan waktunya,” pungkasnya.
Setelah ditingkatkan ke tahap penyidikan, Kejati langsung memeriksa satu orang saksi pada Kamis (21/7) tadi. Orang yang diperiksa itu adalah Kepala BPN Halteng.
Perlu diketahui, pihak yang melaporkan kasus ini berinisial IA. Sementara terlapornya adalah Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN) Halteng. (gon/ask)
