TERNATE – Pimpinan Daerah Dewan Masjid Indonesia (DMI) Kota Ternate Periode 2022-2025 dalam waktu dekat segera dilantik Pimpinan Wilayah DMI Maluku Utara.
Proses pelantikan sendiri dijadwalkan dilaksanakan pada Sabtu (19/11) di Ballroom Sahid Bella Hotel. Kegiatan yang bakal dihadiri seluruh Badan Kesejahteraan Masjid dan Remaja Masjid se-Kota Ternate ini bertajuk “Memakmurkan Masjid, Memakmurkan Ummat”.
Ketua panitia pelaksana, Wahyu Talib kepada wartawan mengatakan, kehadiran DMI Kota Ternate akan memberikan warna baru dalam pembangunan daerah. DMI dapat bersinergi, bergerak berjamaah bersama pemerintah guna memperbaiki karakter ummat dan terus berbuat demi kemajuan ummat.
“DMI akan bersinergi dengan Pemkot Ternate untuk mencapai visi Ternate Andalan,” ungkap Wahyu.
Wahyu juga mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang membantu sehingga acara pelantikan DMI Kota Ternate Periode 2022-2025 akan segera dilaksanakan.
“Saya pribadi mewakili panitia dan pengurus DMI Kota Ternate mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua pihak yang sudah membantu,” ucapnya, sembari menambahkan diacara pelantikan nanti akan ada cerama umum oleh Ketua ICMI Maluku Utara, Dr. Kasman Hi Ahmad.
Sementara Ketua DMI Kota Ternate, Ismunandar Aim Sjah mengatakan, DMI Kota Ternate akan terus berkiprah, menyumbang ide dan gagasan, serta aksi nyata demi kemajuan Kota Ternate.
“DMI mampu menyumbangkan saran dan masukan yang membangun. Ide, gagasan, dan kolaborasi Pengurus DMI akan sangat bermanfaaat demi kemaslahatan masyarakat,” jelas Ismunandar.
Ismunandar menjelaskan dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan moral dan ilmu pengetahuan, maka DMI akan hadir memerangi kemiskinan, keterbelakangan, kebodohan, dan ketidakadilan, untuk kemajuan bangsa.
“Kami juga berharap, kehadiran DMI dapat semakin memperkuat ukhuwah Islamiyyah untuk berperan aktif membangun kehidupan Islami dalam masyarakat,” akhirnya. (ayu)
