PENA – Ketua DPC PKB Kota Ternate Muhajirin Bailusy santer diisukan maju sebagai calon Walikota Ternate pada Pilwako 2020 mendatang. Munculnya nama Muhajirin kian memanaskan tensi di tubuh PKB yang hingga kini belum final bersikap bakal mengusung calon.
Partai pemenang Pileg 2019 di Ternate ini kabarnya masih mencari pasangan ideal untuk mendampingi Ketua DPW PKB Malut Jasri Usman. Hal tersebut jadi sebab kenapa PKB belum bersikap di Pilwako Ternate 2020, meski punya 4 kursi di parlemen.
Sekretaris DPC PKB Ternate, Najib Hi. Talib, menegaskan jika pihaknya tetap bakal mengusung Jasri Usman sebagai calon walikota Ternate. Dia menepis rumor yang berkembang jika PKB akan mengusung Muhajirin yang juga ketua DPRD Ternate.
“Jasri Usman harga mati calon walikota Ternate, bukan Muhajrin Bailusy,” tegas Najib kepada media ini, Rabu (19/08).
“Yang jelas seluruh pengurus DPC dan 7 DPAC PKB Kota Ternate menyepakati dan tetap mendorong ketua wilayah Jasri Usman sebagai calon wakil Walikota, Ternate” tambah dia.
Menurutnya lagi, konstelasi politik bagi PKB Kota Ternate sampai saat ini hanya ada satu nama kaders PKB yang diusulkan dan masuk ke Dewan Pengurus Pusat (DPP) PKB yaitu Jasri Usman.
“Lagian hanya ada satu nama kaders PKB yang masuk di DPP dan mendapatkan dukungan penuh dari DPP PKB yakni pak Jasri Usman bukan Muhajirin Bailusy,” ujarnya.
PKB, lanjut Najib, bersepakat dan meminta kepada ketua DPC PKB Ternate Muhajirin Bailusy untuk tetap meneruskan amanah yang diberikan Rakyat saat ini sebagai Ketua DPRD kota Ternate.
“Kami meminta Ketua PKB Ternate Muhajirin menuntaskan amanah rakyat yang saat ini di embannya sebagai Ketua DPRD kota Ternate,” tandas Najib. (*)
