PENA – Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polres Halmahera Utara (Halut) berhasil menangkap pengedar narkoba jenis ganja berinisial RU (35), pria yang kesehariannya bekerja sebagai buruh.
Peristiwa penangkapan terjadi di depan rumah makan Artomoro Kompleks Cina Pukul 16:00 WIT, di Desa Gamsungi Kecamatan Tobelo pada Minggu (30/8) akhir pekan lalu. Barang bukti berupa Ganja berukuran kecil berjumlah 137 paket siap edar berhasil diamankan petugas.
Kasubag Humas Polres Halut Iptu Mansur Basing, kepada sejumlah media, Selasa (1/9), menjelaskan tim Opsnal Sat Resnarkoba melakukan penyelidikan informasi dari masyarakat tentang adanya pengederan dan kepemilikan narkotika golongan 1 jenis ganja di seputaran kota Tobelo, tepatnya di kompleks kampung Cina.
“Hasil penyelidikan tim berhasil mengamankan seorang laki-laki bernama RU dari hasil penggeladahan badan. Ditemukan 21 paket kecil ganja siap edar,” bebernya.
Tim Reserse Narkoba yang dipimpin Ipda Aktuin Moniharapon ini melakukan pengembangan dari hasil penggeledahan di tempat tinggal pelaku. Alhasil, tim berhasil mengamankan 137 paket kecil ganja siap edar.
“Pelaku kemudian diarahkan ke kantor Sat Resnarkoba Polres Halmahera Utara untuk pengembangan,” ungkap Mansur Basing.
“Pasal yang disangkakan adalah 114 ayat (1) dan pasal 111 ayat (1) UU 35 tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika,” tandasnya. (FN)
