PENAMALUT.COM, LABUHA – Sebanyak 628 warga yang tersebar di dua desa di Pulau Obi telah mengikuti program vaksinasi yang digelar Harita Nickel bersama Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan.
Di Desa Kawasi, 474 warga telah menjalani vaksinasi sejak Juli 2021 lalu, dan pada Senin (20/9) kemarin, 154 warga Desa Soligi juga ikut program vaksinasi Covid-19.
Penyelenggaraan vaksinasi di dua desa ini berlangsung lancar dan diikuti secara antusias oleh warga. Pelaksanaan vaksinasi di Desa Soligi, Kepala Puskesmas Obi Selatan, Andri Deefrits menyempatkan diri untuk memberikan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat terkait Covid-19 dan vaksinasi.
Menurutnya, masyarakat tak perlu ragu untuk segera mendapatkan vaksin.
“Banyak kabar tak benar yang beredar di luar sana terkait vaksin. Saya tegaskan, vaksin ini aman dan halal. Pemerintah tak mungkin ingin membahayakan rakyatnya,” jelasnya.
Andri menambahkan, selain vaksin, masyarakat juga harus senantiasa mengupayakan pencegahan virus melalui pola 3M, yakni memakai masker, mencuci tangan, dan menjaga jarak.
“Sangat penting untuk menerapkan kebiasaan itu. Jangan sampai berpikir bahwa setelah vaksin, boleh meninggalkan masker begitu saja. Masker ini penting untuk mencegah virus dari mulut kita tersebar ke orang lain atau sebaliknya,” ungkap Andri kepada para peserta penerima vaksin.
Penyelenggaraan vaksinasi Covid-19 di Desa Kawasi dan Soligi terselenggara atas dukungan Harita Nickel. Perusahaan pertambangan dan hilirisasi nikel itu memberikan ratusan dosis vaksin, penyediaan tenaga kesehatan, serta dukungan pendistribusian alat pelindung diri (APD) bagi tenaga kesehatan untuk proses vaksinasi.
Sekretaris Desa Soligi, Wahyudin Hamani mengapresiasi kepada seluruh pihak yang telah terlibat dalam kegiatan vaksinasi di Desa Soligi.
“Saya mewakili kepala desa mengucapkan terima kasih banyak terhadap pihak-pihak yang telah bekerja sama dalam penyelenggaraan program yang baik ini. Sebagaimana kita tahu, bahwa vaksin Covid-19 bukan lagi hal asing bagi kita saat ini. Semoga kita selalu dalam kondisi sehat,” ujarnya.
Head of External Relation HARITA Nickel, Stevi Thomas menyampaikan, antusiasme warga untuk mengikuti pelaksanaan vaksin di Desa Kawasi dan Soligi cukup tinggi. Hal ini karena sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Halsel bersama Harita Nickel juga ditunjang oleh kesadaran masyarakat agar segera terbebas dari Pandemi Covid-19.
“Ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen kita sejak awal dalam bahu membahu melawan pandemi. Pandemi ini hanya bisa berakhir dengan kerja sama semua pihak dan kedisiplinan dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Program vaksinasi ini merupakan bagian dari program Harita berbagi,” ujar Stevi Thomas yang mengapresiasi antusiasme warga untuk divaksin.
Program vaksinasi ini direncanakan terus berlanjut guna memberi kesempatan bagi masyarakat yang belum mendapatkan vaksin, dan Harita Nickel juga akan bekerja sama dengan Satgas Penanganan Covid-19 untuk melakukan vaksinasi di beberapa desa lainnya di Pulau Obi. (red)
