PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Penyidik tindak pidana korupsi (Tipikor) Satreskrim Polres Ternate, resmi menetapakan ARH selaku Manajer PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya Area Ternate sebagai tersangka.
ARH ditetapkan sebagai tersangka atas dugaan kasus korupsi penyalahgunaan premi asuransi nasabah pada PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) area Ternate untuk pembayaran angsuran periode Maret 2017 hingga Juli 2020.
“Untuk kasus tersebut penyidik telah menetapakan satu orang yakni ARH selaku Manajer PT. Jiwasraya (Persero) Area Ternate sebagai tersangka. Ini setelah penyidik melakukan gelar perkara pada Selasa 26 Oktober lalu,” kata Kapolres Ternate, AKBP Aditya Laksimada, melalui Kasubag Humas Polres, Ipda Wahyuddin kepada wartawan media, Sabtu (30/10) pekan kemarin.
Dia menuturkan, penetapan tersangka itu dilakukan setelah penyidik mengantongi hasil audit perhitungan kerugian keuangan Negara dari Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP) Perwakilan Malut sebesar Rp 131.562.526.
Menurut Wahyudin, selama proses penyelidikan hingga penyidikan, penyidik telah melakukan pemeriksaan saksi sebanyak 22 orang, termasuk terlapor diperiksa dengan status sebagai saksi dan 2 orang lagi sebagai ahli. 2 orang ahli yang dimintai keterangan itu satu ahli keuangan dari BPKP Perwakilan Malut dan ahli hukum pidana dari Universitas Khairun Ternate.
Atas perbuatannya, tersangka disangkakan melanggar pasal 2 ayat (1) dan atau pasal 3 junto pasal 18 ayat (1) huruf b Undang-Undang Nomor 31 tahun 1999 sebagaimana diubah dengan UU Nomor 20 tahun 2001 tentang pemberantasan tindak pidana korupsi junto pasal 64 ayat (1) KUHPidana.
“Untuk ancaman pasal 2 ayat (1) pidana penjara seumur hidup atau paling singkat 4 tahun. Sedangkan pasal 3 ancaman hukuman penjara seumur hidup atau paling singkat 1 tahun penjara,” jelasnya.
Sekadar informasi, sebelumnya dugaan korupsi penyalahgunaan premi asuransi nasabah (bulanan, semester dan tahunan) pada PT. Asuransi Jiwasaraya (Persero) Area Ternate untuk pembayaran angsuran periode Maret 2017 hingga Juli 2020, penyidik melakukan penyelidikan mulai 19 Oktober 2020 lalu. Kemudian kasus tersebut penyidik tingkatkan ke tahap penyidikan pada dan sekarang penetapan tersangka. (gon/ask)
