PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Panitia pelaksana kongres PSSI Asosiasi Kota (Askot) Ternate telah membuka pendaftaran calon Ketua Askot PSSI Ternate periode 2022-2025.
Pendaftaran calon Ketua Askot telah dibuka sejak 8 sampai 11 Desember 2021.
Sejauh ini, sudah ada beberapa calon yang menyatakan diri akan maju bertarung merebut Ketua Askot Ternate, salah satunya adalah Zulkifli Bian.
Sekretaris Klub Banteng FC ini menyatakan kesiapannya maju pada bursa pencalonan Ketua Askot Ternate lantaran keinginannya mewujudkan Ternate sebagai kota sepak bola.
Zulkifli kepada wartawan menuturkan, banyak pelaku sepak bola Nasional lahir dari bumi Moloku Kie Raha, baik pemain, pelatih, hingga perangkat pertandingan. Bahkan klub kebanggaan Persiter pernah menjadi klub papan atas pada Liga Utama Indonesia yang saat itu diberi nama Liga Super Indonesia (LSI).
Menurut dia, berbicara soal prestasi, Persiter pernah menjadi juara nasional ketika memenangkan Piala Soeratin pada tahun 1978. Beberapa pemainnya juga pernah menjadi punggawa Timnas Indonesia, seperti Rahmat Rivai, Fandy Mochtar, Rizki Pora, Ilham Udin Armayn, Dodi Alekvan, dan masih banyak lagi pemain asal Ternate yang dipanggil untuk mengikuti seleksi Timnas.
Ia berkeinan kuat ingin membangun kembali sepak bola di Kota Ternate. Pria yang akrab disapa Bung Ipi itu ingin merubah warna sepak bola Ternate.
“Untuk itu, saya siap maju mencalonkn diri menjadi Ketua Askot PSSI Ternate. Ada sejumlah visi misi yang sudah saya siapkan. Jika nanti terpilih menjadi Ketua Askot PSSI Ternate, maka tekad saya adalah sepak bola di Kota Ternate harus maju,” jelas Kepala Bagian Umum Kesekretariatan DPRD Provinsi Maluku Utara itu. (red)
