PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Musyawarah Provinsi (Musprov) Ikatan Pencak Silat Indonesia (IPSI) Maluku Utara yang digelar sejak Sabtu (15/1) kemarin usai sudah.
Dalam Musprov itu, Nirwan M.T. Ali kembali dipercaya menahkodai IPSI Malut periode 2022-2026. Hal itu berdasarkan surat keputusan Nomor 003/PP-Musprov/I/2022.
Ketua Umum IPSI Malut, Nirwan M.T Ali mengatakan, setelah dirinya terpilih, ia akan fokus program satu tahun di tahun 2022 ini.
“Kenapa saya fokus satu tahun, itu karena kami di IPSI menyusun program 4 tahun harus sudah ada agenda dari PB. Sementara PB kemarin baru melaksanakan musyawarah dan terpilihnya Prabowo Subianto, kemudian baru dibahas program. Sehingga agenda 4 tahun ke depan belum disampaikan ke provinsi maupun kabupaten/kota,” ujar Nirwan saat ditemui wartawan media ini, Minggu (16/1).
Menurut dia, program yang dicanangkan 4 tahun harus merujuk pada agenda program PB Pusat. Sehingga sambil menunggu itu, ia memprioritaskan di tahun 2022. Sebab ada agenda penting, yakni Popda, Porpov dan Popnas.
“Ini yang harus dipersiapkan, sehingga kesiapan-kesiapan yang akan IPSI laksanakan adalah liga pencak silat mulai dari pelajar tingkat SMP, SMA sampai pada tingkat perguruan tinggi,” jelasnya.
Kepala Inspektorat Provinsi Malut ini juga menambahkan, seluruh IPSI kabupaten/kota di Malut sudah terbentuk, minus Halteng dan Kota Ternate. Karena Kota Ternate masa kepengurusannya sudah selesai, sehingga setelah dirinya terpilih ini akan menerbitkan SK Pelaksanaan Tugas (Plt). Plt Ketua IPSI Pengprov Kota Ternate dengan tugas mempersiapkan dan melaksanakan musyawarah IPSI Kota Ternate.
“Terkait kesiapan atlet, sekarang perguruan-perguruan lagi genjot untuk melakukan pelatihan-pelatihan. Itulah yang kita evaluasi melalui liga-liga, sehingga kesiapan-kesiapan atlet nantinya pada laga Popda, Porpov dan Popnas, bisa kita seleksi kemudian mempersiapkan mereka pada tingkat nasional,” katanya.
“Saya tidak bisa target yang muluk-muluk, hanya ingin mengembalikan kejayaan silat kemarin itu. Di 4 tahun kepemimpinan saya nanti, saya akan mengembalikan kejayaan itu. Harapannya IPSI bisa berkembang dan membawa nama baik Maluku Utara,” sambungnya mengakhiri. (tr3/ask/PN)
