PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Biaya kesehatan bagi masyarakat di lima kecamatan wilayah lingkar tambang PT. Nusa Halmahera Minerals (NHM), Kabupeten Halmahera Uara, yang selama ini ditanggung pihak perusahaan, informasinya sudah dihentikan.
Direktur Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Tobelo, Janta Bony, saat dikonfirmasi membenarkan bahwa kerja sama RSUD Tobelo dan pihak PT. NHM sementara dihentikan.
“Memang kita dapat informasi bahwa sementara PT. NHM memberhentikan dulu pemberian bantuan kesehatan kepada masyarakat lingkar tambang. Untuk penyebabnya juga kami belum ketahui,” kata Bony saat ditemui di ruang kerjanya, Senin (17/1).
Menurut dia, informasi pemberhentian layanan kesehatan ini phaknya juga mengetahui secara lisan melalui pelayanan klinik di Kao, bahwa mereka juga dihentikan pelayanan bagi masyarakat lingkar tambang.
“Untuk secara resmi dalam bentuk surat belum disampaikan NHM,” titurnya.
Terpisah, Manajer CSR PT. NHM Hansed Lasa ketika dikonfirmasi terkait dengan pemberhentian biaya kesehatan bagi masyarakat lingkar tambang, pihaknya secara formal mengaku belum mengetahui. Sehingga dirinya akan berkoordinasi dengan pimpinan perusahaan, setelah itu baru dia menyampaikan keterangan.
Senada disampaikan Manajer komunikasi PT. NHM, Ramdani Sirait, bahwa pihaknya harus kroscek dulu dengan tim SP PT. NHM di lapangan seperti apa situasinya.
