PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Meski pemilihan gubernur (Pilgub) Maluku Utara masih jauh, namun saat ini sejumlah partai politik di daerah telah mengancang-ancang untuk mendorong figurnya pada Pilgub 2024 mendatang.
Tidak terkecuali PDIP. Partai besutan Megawati Soekarno Putri itu juga tengah mempersiapkan mesin partainya menuju konstestasi politik 2024 mendatang.
PDIP Maluku Utara belum menentukan sikap terkait siapa figur yang nantinya bakal diusung pada Pilgub 2024.
Sekretaris DPD PDIP Malut, Asrul Rasyid Ichsan mengatakan, semua kader di PDIP punya hak untuk mencalonkan diri. Namun tentunya harus melalui mekanisme.
“Semua kader punya kesempatan dan peluang untuk mencalonkan diri, baik calon Gubernur maupun calon Wakil Gubernur. Saat ini yang baru muncul adalah Wali Kota Tidore, Capt. Ali Ibrahim. Sementara yang lain kita belum tahu,” ujarnya saat dihubungi wartawan NMG, Rabu (26/1).
Selain Pilgub, pihaknya saat ini fokus pada jesiapan pemilihan legislatif (Pileg). Sebab Pileg ini merupakan salah satu persyaratan hasil perolehan kursi 2024 menuju Pilgub.
“Sehingg kita masih melakukan konsolidasi-konsolidasi untuk target kemenangan Pileg, Pilkada dan Pilpres nanti,” ucapnya.
Pihaknya juga menargetkan Pileg di kabupaten/kota harus menang, termasuk perolehan kursi di DPRD provinsi.
Apalagi, kata mantan Anggota DPRD Kota Ternate ini, di beberapa kabupaten banyak kehilangan kursi, seperti di Halmahera tengah, PDIP hampir separuh kehilangan kursinya. Begitu juga dengan Hamahera Barat dan Kota Ternate.
“Untuk Sula dan Taliabu masih tetap, termasuk di Halmahera Utara kita mengalami peningkatan. Sementara di Provinsi kita punya 8 kursi dan perolehan suara terbanyak. Target kita 2024 tambah meningkat, minimal 10 kursi,” pungkasnya. (ano/ask)
