PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – Kelangkaan minyak goreng yang hingga saat ini masih terjadi di wilayah Maluku Utara, khususnya di Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, membuat DPRD Halbar angkat bicara.
Ketua Komisi II DPRD Halbar, Nikodemus H. David, meminta kepada Pemkab Halbar untuk mengambil langkah agar bisa mengatasi terjadinya kelangkaan minyak goreng dan juga harga yang melambung tinggi.
“Saya sudah memberikan ultimatum ke Disperindagkop agar turun lapangan dengan Stekholder terkait agar bisa memperkecil ruang lingkup penimbunan minyak goreng. Apalagi ini menjelang Ramadhan,” ujar Niko sapaan akrab Nikodemus saat ditemui wartawan, Kamis (10/3) tadi.
Ia bilang, dalam waktu dekat ini Komisi II juga akan berkoordinasi dengan Dinas Perindagkop dan instansi terkait untuk membicarakan soal kelangkaan minyak goreng.
Pihaknya juga mendorong agar Disperindagkop memberikan sanksi tegas apabila menemukan adanya oknum yang melakukan penimbunan minyak goreng.
“Terlebih lagi sekarang menjelang Ramadhan. Jadi harus ambil langkah, jangan tunggu sudah dekat baru bergerak,” tandasnya.
Sekadar diketahui, harga minyak di Halbar sangat tinggi. Untuk minyak goreng curah setengah kilo seharga Rp 24.000. (adi/ask)
