PENAMALUT.COM, JAKARTA – Dari 10 pasang atlet domino yang mewakili Pordi Maluku Utara di Kejuaraan Nasional (Kejurnas) Domino Indonesia yang berlangsung di Jakarta, lima pasang atlet kategori perorangan berhasil lolos ke babak 32 besar.
Lima pasang atlet ini akan memperebutkan posisi 16 besar.
Ketua Pordi Kota Ternate, Iwan Arsan kepada wartawan mengungkapkan, sebanyak 18 Provinsi yang ikut bertanding pada Kejurnas Domino Indonesia, hanya 7 provinsi yang berhasil masuk 32 besar. Salah satunya adalah Maluku Utara.
“Alhamdulillah, lima pasangan atlet domino perwakilan Pordi Malut berhasil melaju ke babak 32 dan menju 16 besar,” katanya, Senin (31/10).
Ia berharap masyarakat Maluku Utara, khususnya Kota Ternate agar dapat mendoakan para atlet yang bertarung pada Kejurnas yang berpusat di Grand Cempaka Hotel, Jakarta pusat.
Selain itu juga, kata dia, para atlet domino yang masuk 32 besar ini dapat meningkatkan kekompakan dalam bertanding.
“Mari kita sama-sama mendoakan, sehingga apa yang diharapkan dapat terwujud dan membawa nama baik Maluku Utara,” harapnya. (ano/ask)
