PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Bupati Kepulauan Sula, Fifian Adeningsi Mus, bersama sejumlah organisasi perangkat daerah melakukan kunjungan kerja ke Negara Spanyol beberapa waktu kemarin. Di sana, Bupati Fifian bertemu sejumlah lembaga untuk kerja sama.
Salah satu lembaga yang dijalin kerja sama adalah Cepesca, organisasi perikanan Spanyol.
Dalam pertemuan itu, Bupati Fifian didampingi Kepala Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan Sula, Sahlan Norau. Pertemuan itu dilaksanakan di Kantor Cepesca di Kota Madrid. Wasekjen Capesca, Dr. Rosio menerima langsung kunjungan Bupati dan rombongan.
Bupati Fifian pada kesempatan itu menawarkan kerja sama kepada Cepesca terkait pengembangan kapasitas perikanan tangkap, sarana dan prasarana pengolahan ikan di Kepulauan Sula. Ini menyangkut ekspor Tuna ke Spanyol.
Fifian juga menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Cepesca yang sudah bersedia menerima kunjungan Pemda Kepulauan Sula serta membuka peluang kerja sama di sektor kelautan dan perikanan.
Wasekjen Cepesca, Dr. Rosio dalam kesempatan itu merespons baik rencana kerja sama itu. Ia bilang potensi dan peluang kerja sama di sektor kelautan dan perikanan ini sangat baik.
Cepesca juga berharap adanya kerja sama antara Pemda Sula dengan Pemerintah Spanyol melalui Capesca ini.
Sementara Kepala DKP Sula, Sahlan Norau menambahkan, potensi kelautan dan perikanan di Kepulauan Sula, terutama Tuna, Cakalang dan Tongkol sangat bagus. Potensi tersebut perlu terus dikembangkan dalam skala yang lebih besar yakni ekspor.
“Untuk mendukung kegiatan tersebut perlu adanya peningkatan kapasitas perikanan tangkap, khususnya tuna dan cakalang serta sarana dan prasarana pengolahannya,” ujarnya. (ish/ask)
