PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula, melantik 234 anggota Panitia Pemungutan Suara (PPS). Pelantikan tersebut berlangsung di Hotel Beliga, Desa Fagudu, Kecamatan Sanana, Selasa (24/1).
Pelantikan dipimpin langsung oleh Ketua KPU Sula, Yuni Yuningsi Ayuba dan didampingi oleh anggota KPU Hamida Umalekhoa, Ramli K. Yacub dan Ifan Sulabesi Buamona.
Setelah pelantikan dan pengambilan sumpah serta janji PPS, dilanjutkan degan jalan bersama ke Istana Daerah untuk melaksanakan apel bersama penyelenggara Pemilu KPU, PPK dan PPS pada pemilu 2024.
Dalam sambutannya, Ketua KPU Sula, Yuni Yuningsi Ayuba, mengucapkan PPS yang tersebar di 78 desa ini akan dibantu oleh jajaran sekretariat tingkat desa sebanyak 3 orang.
“Jadi penyelenggara Ad Hock tingkat desa harus siap dalam melayani hal terkait penyelenggaraan pemilu di wilayah kerjanya masing-masing, sebagaimana tugas dan fungsi yang telah diatur oleh peraturan perundang-undangan,” ucapnya.
Ia berharap agar menjalin kerja sama yang baik dengan masyarakat, pemerintah, stakeholder dan peserta pemilu di tingkat desa.
“Untuk itu, harus mampu mendorong kampanye yang berkualitas yang menyehatkan demokrasi kita. Selanjutnya kami berharap PPS yang telah dilantik bisa bekerja secara profesional sebagai penyelenggara pemilu di tingkat desa, jangan terpengaruh dengan kepentingan yang lain. Harus tetap fokus pada tugas utama untuk menyukseskan pemilu,” harapnya. (ish/tan)
