PENAMALUT.COM, TIDORE – Tomagoba Open Tournamen Usia 23 resmi dihelat. Pertandingan sepakbola yang berlangsung di Stadion Tomagoba, Kota Tidore kepulauan itu dibuka Wali Kota Tidore Capt Ali Ibraim pada Minggu (12/2).
Capt Ali Ibraim dalam sambutannya menyampaikan, kegiatan ini merupakan kebanggaan masyarakat Tomagoba. Sehingga itu, perlu dijaga agar setiap pertandingan dalam kompetisi ini selalu berjalan aman lancar dan sukses.
“Mari kita antisipasi bersama atas luapan semangat dari tiap pendukung tim dengan selalu menjaga suasana pertandingan dalam keadaan kondusif, serta mari kita memelihara rasa kebersamaan, menjunjung tinggi sportivitas, memperkokoh persatuan untuk menaati seluruh ketentuan dan peraturan pertandingan yang telah disepakati bersama,” ajak Ali.
Atas nama pemerintah, kata Ali, dia memberikan apresiasi pada panitia pelaksana yang secara konsisten menyelenggarakan turnamen olahraga sepakbola tahunan ini.
“Semoga kegiatan Tomagoba Open Tournament dapat menjadi sebuah kontribusi nyata masyarakat Tomagoba dalam menyukseskan sosialisasi dunia olahraga sebagai bagian penting untuk ikut membangun kesehatan mental masyarakat Kota Tidore Kepulauan,” ujarnya.
Sementara Ketua panitia kegiatan, Nurul Wardani dalam laporan panitianya menyampaiakan, kegiatan ini adalah turnamen tahunan masyarakat Tomagoba yang mengusung tema “Unity For Glory” yang berarti persatuan untuk kejayaan.
“TOPMENT kali ini merupakan event ke lima yang digelar sejak tahun 2019, namun pada awalnya panitia penyelenggara menggunakan format kategori usia 19 yang berjalan hingga tahun 2020. Kategori U23 dimulai pada tahun 2021 hingga sekarang. Tahun ini terdapat 17 tim yang berasal dari Kota Tidore yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan TOPMENT 2023,” tandasnya.
Dalam acara pembukaan ini juga dirangkaikan dengan persesmian tribun utama Stadion Tomagoba dan penyerahan dokumen hibah aset Stadion Tomagoba kepada masyarakat Kelurahan Tomagoba.
Turut hadir dalam pembukaan tersebut, Forkopimda Kota Tidore, para Staf Ahli Wali Kota, Asisten Sekda, pimpinan OPD, Camat Tidore, Lurah se-Kecamatan Tidore dan masyarakat Kelurahan Tomagoba. Sementara pada pertandingan perdana yang mempertemukan SP 06 Tidore dengan Tugu Muda FC degan Skor 2-0. Kemenangan untuk SP 06 Tidore. (ilo/ask)
