PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Direktorat Reserse Narkoba (Ditresnarkoba) Polda Maluku Utara berhasil menangkap dua orang kakak beradik terduga pelaku pengedar Narkoba jenis ganja seberat 1,45 kilo pada Selasa (11/10) kemarin.
Kedua kakak beradik ini adalah RD alias Iki (27) dan R alias Ogan (34). Berdasarkan hasil tes urine yang dimiliki RD negatif, sementara Ogan positif.
Kabid Humas Polda Malut, Kombes Pol Michael Irwan Thamsil mengatakan, barang haram tersebut dikirim dari Medan menuju Ternate dengan menggunakan salah satu jasa pengiriman yang berkantor di Kelurahan Dufa-Dufa, Kecamatan Ternate Utara, Kota Ternate.
Penangkapan ini bermula ketika penyidik Ditresnarkoba mendapat informasi akan adanya transaksi Narkoba yang dikirim melalui jasa pengiriman, kemudian petugas melaksanakan control delivery untuk melakukan penyelidikan.
Setelah dilakukan penyelidikan, ada seseorang yang mencurigakan mengambil paket yang diantar kurir di depan sekokah dasar yang ada di Kelurahan Dufa-Dufa. Petugas lalu melakukan penggrebekan terhadap orang yang diketahui bernama RD alias Iki petugas tersebut.
“Setelah diamankan, penyidik menginterogasinya dan RD mengaku ia disuruh oleh kakaknya yang bernama Ogan,” kata Michael kepada wartawan, Kamis (13/10).
Tak sampai disitu, penyidik juga melakukan pengembangan dan
tepat pukul 20.00 WIT langsung melakukan penangkapan terhadap R alias Ogan di kediamannya di Jalan Cakalang Kelurahan Dufa-Dufa.
Usai ditangkap, penyidik langsung membawa pelaku beserta barang bukti ke kantor untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.
Dalam kasus ini, petugas mengamankan barang bukti berupa satu paket besar berisikan ganja dengan berat 1,45 kilo, satu buah baju serta dua unit handpone.
“Saya himbau kepada seluruh masyarakat Maluku Utara untuk tidak bermain-main dengan barang haram tersebut. Kami akan terus bekerja semaksimal mungkin untuk mewujudkan Maluku Utara bersih dari Narkoba,” pungkasnya. (gon/ask)
