PENA – Polsek Ternate Utara berhasil meringkus tiga pelaku dugaan pencurian berinisial AB alias Armin (22), ST alias Wardi (28), dan satu pelaku dibawah umur berinisial MIDU (16).
Dari ketiganya, polisi menyita 9 unit handphone dan 2 unit televisi. Ketiganya melakukan aksi di lokasi dan waktu yang berbeda.
Diketahui melalui konferensi pers yang digelar Polres Ternate, Senin (13/7), dalam melakukan aksinya tersangka AB bekerjasama dengan ST. Keduanya, menggasak satu unit televisi 43 inch di rumah salah seorang warga di Akeboca pada Senin 6 Juni sekitar pukul 03.00 WIT.
“Kedua pelaku masuk melalui jendela rumah korban dan mencuri televisi,” ungkap Kapolres Ternate, AKBP Aditya Laksimada.
Selain itu, lanjut Aditya, kedua terduga juga melakukan aksi pencurian di pasar tingkat Gamalama pada Senin 29 Juni. Keduanya mencuri handphone milik korban yang sedang tertidur. Dihari yang sama, dengan modus menginap di penginapan Mandiri kelurahan Makasar Timur, kedua tersangka kembali mencuri satu unit televisi 22 inch milik penginapan.
Sementara itu, pelaku berinisial MIDU diduga melakukan pencurian pada 9 Juli lalu. Pelaku nekat mencuri handphone yang terletak di laci motor yang sedang terparkir. Dalam melakukan aksinya, MIDU telah mencuri sebanyak 7 unit handphone.
“Modus yang digunakan pelaku MIDU ialah berkeliling pakai motor dan melihat ketika ada handphone di laci motor langsung dia ambil. Untuk pelaku ini, kita masih melakukan pengembangan guna mengetahui berapa banyak TKP,” ungkap Aditya.
Aditya menambahkan, atas perbuatan ketiganya diancam dengan pasal 363 ayat 1 ke 3, ke 4 dan ke 5 subsider pasal 362 KUHP dengan ancaman hukuman 7 tahun penjara. (cun)
