Seorang Pemuda Nekat Menjambret di Pasar Gamalama

PENA – Pemuda 24 tahun berinisial AA harus berurusan dengan pihak berwajib karena aksinya yang menjambret seorang pedagang ikan berinisial N (43 tahun) di Pasar Gamalama, Kota Ternate.

Peristiwa penjambretan itu terjadi pada Rabu (24/2) siang sekira jam 11.00 WIT.

N yang baru selesai menjual ikan duduk di depan rumahnya yang berlokasi di Pasar Gamalama. Ia duduk ditemani anaknya sembari menghitung hasil yang diperoleh usai menjual ikan.

Tak lama setelah itu, N menelepon bosnya. Ia tak menduga, uang sejumlah Rp 1,2 juta yang  diletakkan terbuka di atas kain gendongan dirampas oleh AA.

“Tiba-tiba pelaku datang dan merampas uang korban. Tangan kanan pelaku juga ikut merampas telepon genggam dari tangan korban,” ungkap Kapolres Ternate, AKBP Aditya Laksimada melalui Kasubag Humas Ipda Wahyuddin.

AA lalu melarikan diri setelah aksi nekatnya itu. Korban N yang terkejut berusaha mengejar pelaku sambil berteriak minta tolong. Warga yang saat itu mendengar langsung ikut berlari dan mengejar pelaku.

Beruntung ada petugas Patmor Polres Ternate yang sedang berpatroli. Pelaku lalu dikejar dan berhasil ditangkap di ATM Center Toko Makmur Utama yang berjarak sekitar 100 meter dari tempat kejadian perkara (TKP).

“Atas kejadian itu pelaku dijerat dugaan tindak pidana pencurian dan kekerasan. Sedang korban mengalami kerugian 1 telepon genggam android seharga Rp 2.400.000 dan uang tunai sebesar 1.285.000,” jelas Aditya.

Lanjut Aditya, korban yang merasa histeris atas kejadian tersebut menginginkan agar pelaku diproses sesuai hukum yang berlaku. Sekadar diketahui, terduga pelaku AA kesehariannya berprofesi sebagai supir angkutan umum (angkot) dan merupakan warga kelurahan Tafure, Kota Ternate. (*)
