PENA – Pelantikan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati terpilih Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan (Halsel) dan Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula (Kepsul) dijadwalkan pada minggu kedua Juni 2021.
Meski demikian, berkas pengangkatan bupati dan wakil bupati terpilih Kabupaten Halsel sudah dalam tahap pengusulan. Sementara untuk Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula masih menunggu paripurna pemberhentian bupati dan wakil bupati periode 2016-2021.
Kepala Bagian Otonomi Daerah pada Biro Pemerintahan Provinsi Maluku Utara, Taufiqurahman Marasabessy mengatakan bahwa Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) telah membagi jadwal pelantikan tahap tahap ketiga di minggu kedua bulan Juni. Pelantikan kepala daerah terpilih tahap ketiga ini termasuk Kabuapaten Halsel dan Kepsul.
Pihaknya saat ini sedang memproses berkas usulan pengangkatan bupati terpilih untuk Kabupaten Halsel. Untuk Halsel, kata dia, sudah dilakukan paripurna pemberhentian kepala daerah. Meski masa jabatan bupati dan wakil bupati sampai pada Mei 2021. Sementara untuk Kepsul masih menunggu paripurna pemberhentian bupati dan wakil bupati periode 2016-2021.
Ia bilang, lazimnya pelantikan itu dilakukan setelah masa jabatan bupati berakhir. “Namun apabila kemudian Mendagri memiliki pertimbangan lain untuk menjadwalkan pelantikan sebelum berakhir masa jabatan, itu kembali ke Mendagri. Gubernur itu sifatnya mengusulkan dan kemudian menunggu arahan dari Mendagri,” ujarnya.
Apakah itu dibolehkan atau tidak, pihaknya tidak bisa berspekulasi. Jika kemudian Mendagri memilih opsi lain dalam pelantikan, maka Mendagri memiliki pertimbangan yuridis formilnya.
“Yang jelas kita hanya mengusulkan. Untuk Kabupaten Halsel dalam proses pengusulan. Sementara Kepsul belum, karena belum ada paripurna pemberhentian,” jelasnya. (ask)
