PENA – Sebanyak 23 warga binaan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Kelas IIB Jailolo, Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, mendapat remisi hari raya Idul Fitri 1442 Hijiriah tahun 2021. Ini disampaikan Kepala Sub Seksi Registrasi Lapas Jailolo, M. Walid Bahmid kepada wartawan, Selasa (4/5).
23 warga binaan yang mendapatkan potongan masa tahanan itu bervariasi.
“Ada yang mendapatkan pengurangan masa hukuman 15 hari sebanyak 6 orang, satu bulan sebanyak 10 orang, dan satu bulan 15 hari sebanyak 7 orang. Totalnya 23 orang,” jelas Walid.
Ia bilang, mereka yang menerima remisi tahun 2021 ini didominasi kasus pidana perlindungan anak dan kasus Narkoba.
Di mana kasus perlindungan anak sebanyak 16 orang, kasus narkoba tiga orang, pembunuhan dua orang, penganiayaan satu orang, dan undang-undang pertambangan satu orang.
Dirinya berharap kepada 23 Narapidana yang mendapatkan remisi, agar tidak lagi melakukan perbuatan melawan hukum setelah bebas menjalani masa hukuman di Lapas.
“Saya berharap untuk yang mendapatkan remisi agar menjaga perilaku yang baik dan bisa lebih baik setelah menjalani hukumannya,” harapnya. (yadi/red)
