PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Kantor Pencarian dan Pertolongan (Basarnas) Ternate menerima laporan adanya salah satu warga Kelurahan Fitu, Ternate Selatan, hilang tenggelam saat memancing.
Laporan tersebut diterima pada Kamis (15/7) pukul 10.30 WIT tadi dari salah satu keluarga korban. Korban diketahui bernama Zulham (37).
Bahwa pada Kamis pukul 05.00 WIT tadi, korban keluar bersama dengan salah satu temannya, Rahman (37), untuk pergi memancing menggunakan longboat di perairan Jambula.
Sekira pukul 08.00 WIT, tali longboat yang diikatkan di rumpon yang digunakan untuk memancing putus. Korban yang saat itu berada di rumpon berusaha mengejar longboat, namun korban kelelahan dan tenggelam.
Sementara rekan korban kemudian meminta bantuan ke warga.
Kepala Basarnas Ternate, Muhammad Arafah mengatakan, setelah menerima laporan tersebut tim langsung bergerak menuju lokasi hilangnya korban untuk melakukan pencarian.
“Saat ini tim masih melakukan pencarian terhadap korban,” jelas Arafah. (ask)
