PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Menyambut HUT Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesa ke 76, Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Kepulauan Sula melalui Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) melakukan pembersihan di kawasan perkotaan Sanana, Sabtu (31/7).
Ini merupakan kegiatan kali kedua menyongsong 17 Agustus atau HUT RI ke 76.
Plt Kepala DLH Kepsul, M. Ridwan Buamona mengatakan, kegiatan bersih-bersih ini dilakukan selain untuk menyambut HUT RI ke 76, juga sekaligus mensosialisasikan kepada masyarakat Kepsul untuk menyadari pentingnya kebersihan.
Aksi yang dilakukan ini, kata dia, mendapat antusias dari setempat yang turut ikut membantu pembersihan itu.
Aksi bersih-bersih ini masih difokuskan di beberapa desa di wilayah Kota Sanana.
Dengan posisi sebagai tempat pusat pemerintahan, tentunya akan mendapatkan banyak perhatian dari semua orang yang beraktivitas di pusat perkantoran maupun para tamu daerah lainnya yang berkepentingan di kantor Bupati.
“Ini merupakan tantangan tersendiri bagi kita, untuk menjaga daerah ini tetap bersih dan indah dipandang. Selain itu, diharapkan terciptanya kota yang bersih, asri dan nyaman,” ujar Ridwan.
Ia juga berharap kesadaran masyarakat untuk bersama-sama menjaga lingkungan dengan tidak membuang sampah di selokan, sungai dan pantai.
“Mari kita jaga lingkungan kita agar tetap bersih dan indah,” ajaknya. (is/ask)
