PENAMALUT.COM, TOBELO – Seorang pria muda di desa Igobula, kecamatan Galela Selatan, Halmahera Utara, nekat mengakhiri hidupnya dengan cara gantung diri di rumah milik keluarga yang ditempatinya.
Korban bernama Andi (21) ditemukan tewas oleh saudara perempuannya, Selasa (10/8) pagi. Andi diduga frustasi karena cekcok dan ditinggal oleh sang istri.
Kapolsek Galela, Iptu Angga Perdana mengungkapkan, korban cekcok dengan istrinya M (18), Sabtu (7/8) akhir pekan lalu.
Karena pertengkaran itu, M pergi ke rumah saudaranya di desa Soakonora dan belum kembali hingga Senin (9/8) atau berselang sehari sebelum korban ditemukan tewas gantung diri.
Andi yang merasa kesal istrinya belum kembali melampiaskannya dengan cara mengamuk menghancurkan seluruh isi rumah. Rumah yang ia tempati merupakan rumah milik adiknya Nurdiana.
Ibu korban sempat mencoba menenangkan dengan meminta korban untuk menyelesaikan masalah dengan pikiran yang dingin. Korban tidak menggubris sembari berkata akan pergi dan tidak kembali lagi.
“Saya sudah stres, Mama. Jadi jangan dihalangi. Saya mau pergi sudah tidak mau kembali,” ungkap Iptu Angga berdasarkan keterangan dari ibu korban.
Ibu korban sempat meminta bantuan ke beberapa orang untuk menenangkan korban yang ketika itu keluar rumah dengan memegang golok. Tapi korban mengancam setiap orang agar tidak ikut campur dengan urusannya.
Selasa esoknya Nurdiana Saleh, saksi yang juga adik korban, berkunjung ke rumah yang ditempati korban. Saat di rumah melihat seisi rumah sudah berantakan.
Nurdiana lalu mengetuk kamar korban. Karena tidak ada jawaban, ia berinisiatif mengintip dari celah pintu. Saksi pun kaget melihat korban menggantung diri tak bernyawa. Seketika Nurdiana berlari keluar dan meminta pertolongan warga.
“Keluarga korban menolak jenazah untuk divisum dan menandatangani surat penolakan otopsi,” pungkas Kapolsek Iptu Angga. (fnc)
