PENAMALUT.COM, TALIABU – Pemerintah Kabupaten Pulau Taliabu melalui Dinas Kesehatan melakukan sosialisasi dan advokasi pencegahan stunting, Rabu (18/8).
Kegiatan yang berlangsung di gedung serba guna kantor Bupati Taliabu itu dihadiri Bupati Aliong Mus dan Wakil Bupati Ramli, Sekretaris Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Maluku utara Sarbaim Alkarim, pimpinan OPD, dan unsur pemerintah desa.
Kegiatan ini juga sekaligus mengukuhkan istri Bupati Aliong Mus, Hj. Zahra Yolanda Mus sebagai Duta Cegah Stunting SGO NGKA Pulau Taliabu.
Sekretaris Dinkes Malut, Sarbaim Alkarim dalam sambutannya menyampaikan, jumlah kasus stunting di Taliabu berada di angka 11 persen. Sementara untuk angka kekurangan gizi di Taliabu berada pada angka 14 persen
“Dari angka tersebut, baru dua puskesmas yang menginput data yakni Puskesmas Bobong dan Puskesmas Lede. Jika semua puskesmas sudah menginput data stunting, maka datanya pasti akan berubah atau bertambah,” katanya.
Sementara Bupati Aliong Mus mengatakan, masih banyak masyarakat di Kabupaten Taliabu yang belum memiliki kesadaran atas pemenuhan gizi, mulai dari ibu hamil, bayi dan balita, serta masih sulitnya akses terhadap layanan kesehatan pemenuhan gizi serta air bersih dan sanitasi.
“Inilah yang harus kita atasi bersama dengan sinergitas berbagai sektor untuk melakukan pencegahan,” ujar Aliong.
Ia meminta semua Stakeholders agar berperan penting dan harus mengambil bagian sesuai tupoksi kerja dalam penanganan stunting di Kabupaten Pulau Taliabu.
Selain itu, kata aliong, untuk pemerintah desa ditekankan agar mengoptimalkan peran posyandu serta kader posyandu dan kader pemberdayaan Masyarakat sebagai garda terdepan untuk menangani stunting, mulai dari fasilitas pendukung seperti alat dan kelengkapan dalam posyandu.
“Saya berharap kesediaan semua pihak yang hadir disini untuk dapat saling bekerja sama dalam mengentaskan permasalah stunting di Pulau Taliabu,” harap Bupati dua periode ini sembari meminta semua stakeholder agar mematuhi protokol kesehatan.
“Karena diri kita, setiap individu dan masyarakat seluruhnya adalah garda terdepan dalam upaya penanganan penyebaran covid- 19. Kenakan masker, jaga jarak, mencuci tangan dan hindari kerumunan serta kurangi mobilitas. Sehat selalu dan tetap semangat,” pungkasnya menutup. (ysn/ask)
