PENAMALUT.COM, SANANA – Satuan Lalulintas (Sat Lantas) Polres Kepulauan Sula selama Januari hingga Agustus 2021 ini sudah menengani 23 kasus Lakalantas, sebanyak.
Dari 23 kasus Lakalantas ini, 7 diantaranya meninggal dunia. Sementara 14 orang lainnya luka berat dan 7 orang luka ringan.
“Kerugian akibat Lakalantas ditaksir mencapai puluhan juta rupiah,” jelas Kasat Lantas Polres Sula, Iptu Walid Buamona saat ditemui wartawan, Selasa (24/8).
Walid menjelaskan, kasus Lakalantas ini terdiri dari Lakalantas tunggal tiga orang yakni di depan Kantor Brimob Desa Mangega dan depan pertokoan Desa Fagudu, Kecamatan Sanana.
Kata dia, rata-rata kejadian Lakalantas ini pada malam hari, dan yang meninggal dunia ini lantaran mengonsumsi alkohol.
Untuk itu, ia mengimbau kepada pengendara roda dua maupun roda empat agar selalu berhati-hati dalam setiap berkendara.
“Lengkapi kendaraannya saat berkendara dan harus selalu memakai helm. Pastikan dulu kondisi benar-benar sehat atau normal, jangan sampai dipengaruhi alkahol atau obat obatan lain, baru berkenderaan. Harus tertib berlalulintas,” imbaunya menutup. (ish/ask)
