Kejari Haltim Selamatkan Rp 400 Juta Lebih Uang Korupsi

MABA, PENAMALUT – Upaya Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Kabupaten Halmahera Timur (Haltim) dalam menangani kasus korupsi, patut diacungi jempol. Lihat saja, terhitung Maret 2021, lembaga adhyaksa tersebut sudah berhasil menyelamatkan uang korupsi sebesar Rp 446. 238. 150.

Duit sebesar itu dirampas dari dua kasus korupsi, yakni korupsi anggaran proyek Air Mancur tahun 2011 dan korupsi dana program meningkatan sistem pengawasan di Inspektorat Haltim. “Untuk kerugian negara proyek Air Mancur itu sebenarnya sebesar Rp 550. 000. 000, tetapi yang dikembalikan dua terpidana baru Rp 146. 683. 150, sisanya nanti dicicil. Sedangkan untuk korupsi di Inspektorat, sudah dikembalikan semuanya,” jelas Kepala Kejari Haltim, Adri Nutanubun.        

Ia mengungkapkan, dua pelaku kasus korupsi proyek Air Mancur yang kini sudah berstatus terpidana adalah ZA dan FD. Kerugian negara sebesar Rp 550. 000.000, adalah putusan Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Ternate. “Jadi terpidana kasus korupsi proyek Air Mancur bersedia mengembalikan kerugian negara secara bertahap dan jaksa akan melakukan penagihan untuk disetorkan ke negara,” tutur Adri.

Menurutnya, Kejari Haltim selalu berupaya untuk menyelamatkan uang negara dari setiap penanganan kasus korupsi. Adri juga menegaskan bahwa pihaknya berkomitmen untuk tidak menutupi setiap kasus korupsi yang terjadi di Kabupaten Halmahera Timur.

“Kami juga tentu mengapresiasi keluarga para pelaku yang telah memiliki kesadaran hukum yang tinggi untuk mengembalikan kerugian negara dari kasus-kasus yang kami tangani,” tutupnya. (mdf/rii)
