PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Pemerintah Kota Ternate sedang menyiapkan city branding sebagai indentitas kedaerahan yang memiliki makna.
Kota Ternate ke depan diharapkan punya nilai dasar dan karakteristik daerah.
“Jika dilihat dari logo Makugawene sekarang ini masih minim filosofi. Artinya, tidak terlalu banyak menggambarkan karakteristik daerah itu sendiri. Sehingga logo ini akan dikaji untuk dilakukan penyesuaian,” kata Kepala Bapelitbangda Kota Ternate, Rizal Marsaoly kepada wartawan, Kamis (30/9).
Lanjut Rizal, ada 7 karakteristik nilai dasar yang akan mewarnai logo baru nanti. Namun, hal ini tidak serta merta dilakukan perubahan begitu saja. Sebab ada tahapan yang nantinya dilakukan untuk didorong ke DPRD sekaligus meminta persetujuan dan lain-lainnya.
“Yang jelas logo Pemerintah Kota Ternate ini bisa dikaji untuk dilakukan penyesuaian, paling tidak setiap lambang yang tertera itu harus punya makna atau filosofi di logo itu,” ucapnya.
Kata Rizal, logo Makugawene ini belum kuat menjelaskan city branding. Bertepatan dengan momentum finalisasi city branding sebagai kota rempah, maka nantinya diarahkan nilai dasar itu.
“Kalau nilai dasar itu sudah ada yang menjiwai, rohnya terbentuk dalam logo. Jadi ini sebagai perisai yang akan menjadi logo baru nanti,” ujarnya.
“Intinya setiap daerah harus punya logo, karena itu mempunyai makna karakteristik indentitas sebuah daerah. Jadu nanti kita tunggu persetujuan dari DPRD seperti apa,” pungkasnya. (adv/udi)
