Melaksanakan kegiatan Praktik Belajar Lapangan (PBL) I tahun ajaran 2021/2022 di Kecamatan Kao, Kabupaten Halmahera Utara.
Ketua Program Studi Kesehatan Masyarakat Unhena, Malik Yunus menjelaskan, kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari implementasi kurikulum Prodi Mahasiswa Kesehatan Masyarakat. Di mana nahasiswa wajib mengikuti praktik PBL I dan PBL II.
“Pelaksanaan PBL yang diikuti 20 mahasiswa ini untuk mengidentifikasi masalah kesehatan, menentukan prioritasnya, mencari solusi masalah dengan mengaplikasikan semua ilmu yang sudah didapat selama mengikuti kuliah,” ujar Malik kepada wartaqan, Kamis (4/11).
Ia berharap semoga dengan kegiatan ini dapat dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat di lokasi PBL, terutama di Desa Dim Dim Kecamatan Kao. Mereka juga turut didampingi pembimbing lapanagn adalah para dosen Program Studi Kesehatan Masyarakat.
“Kegiata ini untuk mengdentifikasi masalah kesehatan masyarakat di desa dengan melakukan pengkajian kesehatan di rumah warga,” ujarnya.(fnc/ask)
