PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Tepat pada 19 Januari 2022 nanti, DPRD Provinsi Maluku Utara akan berusia 21 tahun.
Untuk memperingatinya, Sekretariat DPRD Malut menggelar sejumlah rangkaian kegiatan HUT yang dimulai pada Kamis (13/1) tadi.
Rangkaian kegiatan HUT ini dibuka Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Malut, Samsudin Abdul Kadir.
Samsudin dalam sambutannya menyampaikan, DPRD Malut terbentuk ketika Provinsi Maluku Utara secara resmi dimekarkan dari provinsi induk Maluku tahun 1999 silam, lalu DPRD hadir sebagai sebuah persyaratan secara kelembagaan di sebuah provinsi.
“DPRD Malut yang saat itu masih berkedudukan di Ternate, dan tanggal 19 Januari nanti akan berusia 21 tahun,” ujarnya.
Peringatan hari jadi yang biasanya diawali dengan rangkaian kegiatan merupakan hal yang sudah biasa dilakukan. Maka seperti pada hari ini, dalam rangka memeriahkan hari jadi tersebut, Sekretariat Dewan telah merancang sejumlah rangkaian kegiatan dengan harapan agar peringatan hari jadi ini memiliki kesan khusus, yakni tidak ingin melupakan sejarah.
“Lebih dari itu, hari jadi DPRD ini dapat pula dimaknai sebagai tahun evaluasi tehadap perjalanan lembaga ini. Oleh karena itu, saya berharap agar rangkaian acara yang digelar nanti dapat membawa inspirasi baik bagi jajaran sekretariat untuk tidak melupakan jasa pemerintah. Pelibatan masyarakat dalam kegiatan dengan tujuan untuk lebih mengenal dan mencintai lembaga ini harus dilakukan, apalagi di Sofifi yang kita cintai ini,” harapnya.
Lanjut, Samsudin, kurang lebih 21 tahun, penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dan pembangunan di Kota Sofifi maupun di seluruh wilayah Provinsi Maluku Utara terus dilakukan. Terus berbenahnya pemerintah dalam peningkatan infrastruktur ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat jati diri Sofifi sebagai sebuah kota masa depan.
“Sinergitas lembaga eksekutif dan legislatif dalam merencanakan semua program pemerintah harus selalu terjaga demi nama baik daerah ini di mata publik,” pintanya mengakhiri. (ano/adv)
