PENAMALUT.COM, LABUHA – Kaur Keuangan Desa Lata-Lata, Kecamatan Kasiruta Barat, Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan, Etus Maici, melaorkan pemilik akun facebook atas nama Wanto Sis Wanto ke Polres Halsel.
Pemilik akun tersebut dilaporkan lantaran mengunggah postingan akun media sosialnya dengan menuduh Etus sebagai otak dibalik kericuhan yang terjadi di Desa Lata-Lata.
Ismid Usman selaku kuasa hukum pelapor mengatakan, apa yang dituduhkan terlapor sebagaimana dalam postingan yang di salah satu grup facebook itu tidak benar dan sangat menyudutkan kliennya.
“Postingan Wanto Sis Wanto di grup Pilkada Halsel 2020 itu sudah menyerang kehormatan atau mencemarkan nama baik serta menyebarkan berita bohong terhadap pelapor,” kata Ismid kepada wartawan usai membuat laporan di Mapolres Halsel, Senin (17/1) tadi.
Ismid menuturkan, tuduhan pemilik akun tersebut sangat membuat resah dan terkesan provokasi.
Untuk itu, pihaknya selaku klien pelapor tidak terima. Apalagi tuduhan tersebut sudah dikonsumsi publik, tentu nama baik pelapor sudah tercemarkan.
Ismid bilang, apa yang dituduhkan terlapor itu melanggar ketentuan sebagaimana diatur dalam Pasal 27 Ayat (3) jo Pasal 45 Ayat (3) Undang-Undang Nomor 19 tahun 2016 tentang perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 11 tahun 2008 tentang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik, dengan acaman pidanya empat tahun penjara.
Ia juga menambahkan, pihaknya sudah mengantongi sebagian alat bukti, dan sudah diserahkan sepenuhnya ke pihak Polres.
“Untuk itu, kami minta Polres agar bisa bekerja lebih cepat untuk menemukan pelaku tersebut demi tegaknya keadilan terhadap korban,” harapnya. (rul/ask)
