PENAMALUT.COM, LABUHA – Pengurus Perhimpunan Pemuda Pemudi Jojame (PPPJ) Kecamatan Bacan Barat Utara, Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan, Periode 2022-2024 resmi dilantik Ketua Dewan Pimpinan Daerah (DPD) Komite Nasiona Pemuda Indonesia (KNPI) Halmahera Selatan pada Sabtu (26/2) pekan kemarin.
Pelantikan yang berlangsung di depan Kantor Desa Jojame itu turut dihadiri Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPRD Halsel Sagaf Hi Taha, Sekretaris KNPI Halsel Tabrid S. Talib, Bendahara KNPI Rosita Syarif, Komisioner KPU Halsel Darmin Hi. Hasyim, mantan Ketua KNPI Halsel Rustam Side, dan Ketua DPC Partai Prima Halsel Mansur Abdul Fatah, serta disaksikan masyarakat dan Pemerintah Desa Jojame.
Dalam sambutannya, Ketua KNPI Halsel, Fahrizal Rahmadi menyampaikan bahwa ini merupakan pertama kalinya ia melantik organisasi pemuda kampung, khususnya Desa Jojame, semenjak dirinya menjadi Ketua KNPI Halsel.
Ini merupakan suatu kehormatan besar, dirinya bersama rombongan diundang untuk bisa hadir bersama-sama dengan masyarakat Jojame dalam acara pelantikan pemuda pemudi Desa Jojame.
“Ini suatu kehormatan bagi saya sebagai Ketua KNPI Halsel dan rombongan yang diundang oleh teman-teman pemuda pemudi Desa Jojame,” ujarnya.
Untuk itu, pada kesempatan itu ia berpesan kepada pemuda pemudi Desa Jojame yang baru dilantik agar dapat menjalankan organisasi itu dengan penuh semangat dan tanggungjawab dalam mengawal kepentingan Desa Jojame.
Seorang pemuda, kata Izal sapaan akrabnya, harus memiliki tiga prinsip, yakni karya, daya dan gaya.
“Bagaimana kita ingin berdaya saing, jika kita tidak punya karya. Bagaimana kita mau bergaya, jika kita tidak bisa berdaya saing. Maka dari itu, seorang pemuda harus mampu berkarya. Setelah berkarya, baru bisa berdaya saing, lalu kemudian kita bisa bergaya,” tuturnya.
“Kalau kita sudah berkarya, kita bisa berdaya saing dengan pemuda-pemuda yang lain, barulah kita bisa bergaya. Karena kita sudah sukses melewati tahapan-tahapn itu,” sambung Ketua UPT KPH Halmahera Selatan itu.
Sementara Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPRD Halsel, H. Sagaf Hi. Taha dalam orasi ilmiah kepemudaannya mengatakan bahwa sejarah kemerdekaan bangsa Indonesia tidak terlepas dari peran pemuda. Di mana perjuangan pemuda melalui konsolidasi pemuda seluruh Indonesia untuk merebut kemerdekaan dari penjajahan Belanda dan Jepang.
“Saya ingin sampaikan kepada teman-teman pemuda pemudi Desa Jojame, bahwa peran pemuda di era pra kemerdekaan hingga reformasi sangat penting dalam sejarahnya. Sehingga itu, pemuda memiliki peran penting dalam kemajuan suatu bangsa, negara maupun daerah itu sendiri,” katanya.
Oleh karena itu, Anggota DPRD Halsel dua periode itu berharap agar pemuda pemudi Desa Jojame mengambil peran dalam pembangunan desa untuk kemajuan bersama.
Sekadar diketahui, kedatang Ketua KNPI Halsel bersama rombongan dan Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPRD Halsel di Desa Jojame dalam acara pelantikan itu disambut dengan tarian cakalele dan pemakaian kalung bunga. (rul/ask)
