PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Pemerintah Kota Ternate melalui Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) mengakui pembangunan jalan menuju lokasi wisata Wailanga yang terletak di Kelurahan Takome, Kecamatan Ternate Barat.
Proyek yang diploting senilai Rp 470.532.000 melalui APBD 2022 yang dikerjakan oleh CV. Bintang JayaIni tersebut diakui Kepala Bidang Bina Marga pada Dinas PUPR Kota Ternate, Rusmansyah kepada wartawan, Selasa (9/8).
Menurutnya, soal proyek pembangunan jalan itu bukan hanya sampai pada wisata Wailanga, karena pihaknya dari Bina Marga membuka akses jalan tersebut di semua Kota Ternate.
“Ini semua arahan pak wali kota untuk membuka akses jalan supaya masyarakat bisa menikmati hasil dari pembangunan jalan itu. Karena pak wali ingin membuka akses jalan sebanyak-banyaknya di Kota Ternate untuk pelayanan masyarakat,” jelas Rumansyah.
Selain itu, Rumansyah menuturkan, pihaknya juga membutuhkan anggaran besar lantaran pembangunan jalan ke Jikomalamo dengan panjang 1 kilometer harus melewati bukit dan tebing, sementara bukit itu harus dibelah lagi.
“Jadi kemarin yang terbuka itu baru sepanjang 600 meter dengar lebar bervariasi 3,5 meter. Sedangkan yang baru terbangun itu sepanjang 350 meter, kebetulan hanya sampai di wisata Resort itu,” tuturnya.
Meski begitu, Rusmansyah mengakui, anggaran pembangunan jalan ini tak cukup, sehingga kembali diusulkan di APBD-P 2022 sebesar Rp 350 juta.
Di sisi lain, ia membantah terkait proyek pembangunan jalan yang diduga diperuntukkan terhadap pemilik Vila di lokasi situs wisata Wailanga tersebut.
“Pembangunan jalan ini bukan untuk pemilik Vila menuju Resort, kita tidak ada urusan dengan pemilik Resort. Karena yang dilihat programnya dan ingin ada akses peluang untuk masyarakat,” pungkasnya. (udi/tan)
