PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – DPW PKS Maluku Utara menyatakan sikap sejak awal untuk menolak rencana kenaikan harga BBM. Ini menyusul kebijakan pemerintah yang mengumumkan kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi berupa Pertalite dan Solar, pada Sabtu (3/9) kemarin.
Ketua DPW PKS Maluku Utara, Is Suaib mengatakan, PKS Maluku Utara tetap konsisten dan secara tegas menolak kenaikan harga BBM.
“Kebijakan menaikkan harga BBM bersubsidi saat ini sungguh tidak berempati dengan kondisi masyarakat yang masih mengalami kesulitan ekonomi akibat terdampak pandemi Covid-19,“ kata Is Suaib kepada Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Rabu (7/9).
Menurutnya, ekonomi rakyat sekarang masih merangkak menuju pemulihan akibat pandemi Covid-19 serta hantaman kenaikan minyak goreng.
“Rakyat akan bertambah sengsara dengan naiknya harga BBM, sebab kenaikan BBM tersebut akan berimbas kepada kenaikan di sektor lainnya, seperti kenaikan harga bahan pokok dan berbagai komoditas lainnya. Karena itu kami secara tegas meminta kebijakan tersebut dicabut,” tegas mantan anggota DPRD Kota Ternate ini.
Atas dasar itu, Is Suaib meminta seluruh kader dan anggota dewan PKS se-Provinsi Maluku Utara untuk bergerak bersama menyuarakan penolakan atas kenaikan harga BBM sebagai bentuk kepedulian dan keberpihakan kepada masyarakat.
Sementara, Anggota DPRD PKS Maluku Utara Zulkifli Hi Umar turut menanggapi kenaikan harga BBM.
Zulkifli bilang, bukan dia saja yang menolak kenaikan harga BBM, tetapi semua anggota Fraksi PKS dan semua kader Partai PKS Maluku Utara dengan tegas dan lantang untuk menyatakan penolakan terhadap kebijakan pemerintah yang menurut mereka sangat memberatkan masyarakat.
“Selaku Anggota DPRD dari PKS juga mewakili seluruh kader PKS dan rakyat Maluku Utara yang bersepakat dengan kami menyatakan sangat menolak kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi ini. Kami minta agar pemerintah membatalkan kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi itu,” ucap Zulkifli.
Selain itu, lanjut Zulkifli, pihaknya menilai dengan naiknya harga BBM ini akan berimbas kepada naiknya harga di pasar dan angkutan.
Ia mengatakan bahwa pekerja sektor informal seperti petani, nelayan, buruh, UMKM, sopir angkutan, pedagang keliling akan semakin sulit akibat kenaikan BBM, sehingga PKS merasa bertanggung jawab untuk menyuarakan ini.
“Harga BBM ini akan menimbulkan multiflying effect yang dahsyat dengan naiknya harga-harga barang dan tarif transportasi umum tentunya. Karena itu, PKS memiliki tanggungjawab secara moral dan konstitusional untuk menyuarakan penolakan terhadap kenaikan harga BBM bersubsidi ini,” pungkas Zulkifli. (tan)
