PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Partai Demokrat Maluku Utara menargetkan 7 kursi di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Malut pada Pemilu legislatif tahun 2024 mendatang.
Ketua DPD Partai Demokrat Malut, M. Rahmi Husen mengungkapkan, pihaknya mengacu pada Pileg sebelumnya, di mana Demokrat memperoleh suara 8,8 persen atau 4 kursi di DPRD Provinsi Malut. Sehingga di Pileg yang akan datang, pihaknya menargetkan 6 kursi di DPRD Provinsi atau 13,33 persen dan maksimalnya 7 kursi.
”Kenapa targetnya seperti itu, karena sekarang kita peroleh 4 kursi dan ditargetkan capaian di daerah pemilihan III (Tidore-Kabupaten Halmahera Tengah dan Kabupaten Halmahera Timur) satu kursi. Khusus di Dapil I (Ternate-Halmahera Barat) dengan komposisi Caleg yang maksimal yang dimiliki Partai Demokrat, tidak mustahil bisa meraih 2 kursi,” tuturnya kepada wartawan Nuansa Media Grup (NMG), Senin (10/10).
Menurutnya, pihaknya telah menyiapkan satu calon legilatif yang sangat bagus yang dipasang untuk bertarung di Dapil I. Dan Caleg itu sudah menjanjikan all out bekerja keras bersama jajaran pengurus. Selain itu, DPC Partai Demokrat Kota Ternate juga akan bekerja maksimal memasang para Caleg yang potensial untuk kedepan bisa jadi Ketua DPRD.
“Kalau di Halbar sudah pasti dicanangkan DPC itu minimal 6 kursi perolehan di Pemilu tahun 2024 mendatang,” katanya.
Rahmi optimis partai yang dipimpinnya akan meraih 37 kursi di DPRD kabupaten/kota. Dengan begitu, tercapai unsur pimpinan di DPRD Kota Ternate, Ketua DPRD di Sula dan Halmahera Utara. (gon/ask)
