PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan (DKP) Provinsi Maluku Utara menyerahkan bantuan kapal perikanan berkapasitas 5 gross tonage (GT) kepada lima kelompok nelayan.
Penyerahan bantuan kapal perikanan ini bertempat di galangan kapal Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN), Kelurahan Bastiong, Kota Ternate, Selasa (15/11).
Sekretaris DKP Malut, Iwan Arsan, mewakili Kepala DKP saat menyerahkan bantuan tersebut menyampaikan, bantuan kapal perikanan ini diserahkan kepada lima kelompok/koperasi nelayan.
Mereka yang menerima bantuan ini terdiri dari satu koperasi nelayan asal Halmahera Utara, satu koperasi nelayan di Kota Ternate, satu koperasi di Kota Tidore, dan dua koperasi di Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan.
“Jadi setiap koperasi nelayan menerima satu buah bantuan kapal perikanan,” ujar Iwan dalam sambutannya.
Iwan juga meminta kepada koperasi nelayan penerima bantuan agar memanfaatkan bantuan tersebut dengan sebaik-baiknya. Sebab pihaknya akan melakukan evaluasi suatu waktu terhadap bantuan yang diberikan tersebut.
“Pergunakanlah kapal bantuan ini dengan baik. Rawat dan jaga. Ini akan dilakukan evaluasi. Apabila kedapatan ada yang tidak menggunakan sesuai fungsinya atau tidak dimanfaatkan dengan baik, maka akan ditarik,” tandas Ketua Pordi Kota Ternate itu menutup. (ask)
