PENAMALUT.COM, JAILOLO – PLN Cabang Jailolo siap mengamankan pasokan listrik menjelang Natal 2022 dan Tahun Baru 2023 (Nataru) di Kabupaten Halmahera Barat.
Manager PT PLN ULP Jailolo, Hendro Eko Prabowozy, mengatakan pihaknya memastikan pada perayaan Nataru, PLN menjamin listrik tidak lagi padam.
“Di wilayah Kecamatan Ibu juga kemarin ada gangguan jaringan tersambar petir. Kalau dari internal jaringan dan mesin untuk menyambut Nataru ini dipastikan aman,” kata Hendro saat diwawancarai, Rabu (7/12).
Menurutnya, Natal dan Tahun Baru ini diusahakan jaringan dan mesin tetap aman, sehingga rekan-rekan Nasrani bisa melaksanakan ibadah dengan menikmati listrik secara terang-benderang.
“Kemarin di Sahu Pesisir Desa Goro-goro dan Sasur, memang medannya agak susah. Kami melakukan pembersihan ada juga warga yang menolong untuk pemangkasan pohon. Ini untuk masyarakat jadi semua harus nikmati listrik dengan baik,” imbuhnya.
Ia juga mengaku bahwa total mesin yang dimiliki PLN Cabang Jailolo terdapat 8 unit yang tengah beroperasi, dan tidak ada yang rusak untuk menyambut Nataru.
Hendro menerangkan, kerap kali pemadaman listrik ini bukan terjadi di wilayah Kecamatan Jailolo, tetapi meliputi Kecamatan Sahu dan Kecamatan Ibu.
Hal itu bukan karena ada gangguan dari jaringan kabel PLN. Lampu sering padam juga diakibatkan karena gangguan, sehingga pihaknya sudah mengevaluasi bersama terkait gangguan listrik di lapangan.
“Gangguan ini seperti binatang, pohon tumbang dan lain-lain. Apalagi musim hujan sekarang ini. Untuk itu, kami meminta masyarakat melaporkan apabila ada pohon yang tumbang lalu terkena jaringan kabel,” pintanya.
“Kami juga memohon kepada masyarakat agar membantu kami, karena PLN kalau bekerja sendiri tidak bisa. Misalnya kalau ada pohon kelapa yang terlalu dekat dengan kabel, kemudian mereka tidak berani tebang, informasikan ke kami supaya kami tebang,” sambungnya menutup. (adi/tan)
