PENAMALUT.COM, TERNATE – Panitia Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Panwaslu) Kecamatan Ternate Barat mengumumkan 30 Pengawas TPS terpilih pada pemilihan umum (Pemilu) Februari 2024.
Pengumunan hasil seleksi Pengawas TPS Kelurahan di wilayah Kecamatan Ternate Barat berdasarkan Nomor: 005/POKJA/P-TPS/KTB/1/2024
Ketua Panwaslu Kecamatan Ternate Barat, Ricky Awlansyah, menjelaskan dalam rangka melaksanakan amanat Undang-Undang Nomor 7 tahun 2017 sebagaimana telah diubah dengan UU Nomor 7 tahun 2023 tentang Pemilu dan Peraturan Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Perbawaslu) Nomor 19 tahun 2017 sebagaimana telah diubah terakhir dengan Perbawaslu Nomor 4 tahun 2024 tentang Perubahan Ketiga atas Perbawaslu Nomor 19 tahun 2017 tentang Pembentukan, Pemberhentian, dan Penggantian Antarwaktu Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum (Bawaslu) Provinsi, Bawaslu kabupaten/kota, Panitia Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kecamatan (Panwaslu), Panitia Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Kelurahan/Desa (PKD), Panitia Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Luar Negeri, dan Pengawas TPS.
Setelah melakukan pemeriksaan kelengkapan, keabsahan, dan legalitas berkas persyaratan calon Pengawas TPS dari kelurahan/desa di Kecamatan Ternate Barat, Panwaslu Ternate Barat kemudian mengumumkan 30 nama yang dinyatakan lolos.
Pengawas TPS terpilih akan dilantik pada 22 Januari 2024 pada pukul 08.00 WIT, bertempat di Wailanga Fila dan Resto, Kelurahan Takome, Kecamatan Ternate Barat.
Pengawas TPS terpilih merupakan kandidat yang telah lolos seleksi administrasi dan seleksi wawancara yang dilakukan oleh Panwaslu Tebar yang berpedoman kepada keputusan Ketua Badan Pengawas Pemilihan Umum Nomor: 28/HK.01/K1/01/2024.
“Pengawas TPS merupakan bagian penting dalam pengawasan pemilihan umum,” kata Ricky, Sabtu (20/1).
Kehadiran Pengawas TPS ini diharapkan dapat mencegah pelanggaran dalam pelaksanaan pemungutan suara dan penghitungan suara di TPS pada 14 Februari nanti.
“Harapan besarnya pengawas TPS dapat menjalankan tugas secara efektif dan penuh integritas,” harapnya.
